The photos on the website are a very poor representation of Mountain Modern. The rooms are extremely small … especially the bathroom. You can barely get in the bathroom to close the door as the toilet is so close to the door. The parking situation is terrible as it’s way too small. We parked on the street because we were in a truck and felt if vehicles parked opposite from us we wouldn’t be able to get out. Probably wouldn’t stay here again.

There was a conference at the time of my stay and when I went to the cafe I could not even get a cup of coffee because it was reserved for the conference attendees. And that is extremely unfortunate because none of the guests were notified.

Love the aesthetic of the property. The location is convenient making it easy to walk around town. My only gripe is the toilet handle. It needed to be held down otherwise the toilet doesn't flush.

Nice but noisy

Comfy rooms. Nice furnishings. Good location. Friendly staff. The only concern is is noise, which they acknowledge with earplugs available on the night stand. There is a train very nearby, it is loud. It is also loud with the wood floor framing, you can hear people around you walking on the wood floors. So, overall a nice place, but if you are noise sensetive you might want to look elsewhere.
