Hot tub was closed, bathroom in pool area was disgusting and construction ongoing yet was never informed of either prior to arrival. Exercise room looks like it was thrown in there with little care since. Breakfast was tasty but woman in servery was very rude, and felt like we were imposing.

Nice hotel, with a friendly staff. Very few options for close restaurants. Be aware you will be pretty far from downtown Cooperstown.

The staff that greeted me was very friendly at check-in. While my room seemed quite clean I was alarmed when I tried to draw a bath, and the water came out dark brown. When I flushed the toilet, it made a large clunking noise. I called the front desk and was informed that the water had been off in recent days and no one had stayed in my room so I needed to let the water run for a minute or so. While I was expecting more concerned for my comfort from staff, I decided to try running the water. It eventually came clear, but had a strong smell of sulfur. I was exhausted from a day at the hospital with my husband and decided not to push the issue any further as it was midnight. I attempted to watch TV instead and had much difficulty using it before giving up. In the morning the water still smelled like sulfur and the sink water was brown and the toilet water was very cloudy. I planned to discuss this with staff at checkout when they asked me about nice my stay. While the staff at checkout was polite he left the customer service skills that go above and beyond. At this point, I was very frustrated because I was not asked about my stay and my evening was far from relaxing. I realized I did not have the patience to discuss the matter politely and promptly left. I would like to say that the room was very spacious and style was pretty current.

We enjoyed the hot tub and pool area, it was sunny in the room! Breakfast was hot and quiet. snowed while we stayed, I appreciated whoever on staff went and shoveled the drivers side of everyone's cars out. The parking lot was not plowed my entire 2 day stay, during active snow storms. Everything else was lovely.

The only thing I could complain about was that when I walked in my room, I slid the window right open when I checked it for first floor safety. The window was not secured or locked. The gracious front desk person changed my room. The second room window was also not locked when I walked in the room. The front desk employee came to the room and was able to show me the trick to lock it, but the fact that it was not easy able to be locked without the trick or figured out was unsafe. I was grateful she knew the trick. Other than that, I was very happy with the cleanliness of the room and the friendly and helpful demeanor of the staff. I also had very low expectations of breakfast and the hot food was actually seasoned and had flavor so that was a nice surprise.
