This is a nice funky hotel which is situated close to the airport and car rental return. I particularly liked the lounge, dining room and bar.

Couldnt wait to be done with the Ibis Hotel

My stay at the Ibis Heathrow Airport Hotel was just ok. First, I was almost left stranded because my credit card failed and hotel refused to accept cash so the hotel staff almost asked me to leave until i was able to call a friend who put his card out for me. The room was cleaned daily but on one occasion the janitor took out all my soap and disposed them, not sure why she did that. The hotel does not have an intercom like you'd find in most hotels, they only have a QR code for you to chat them on WhatsApp which i find very violating of my privacy.The restaurant only has a breakfast buffet with limited option for 14p and during other meals, the options are quite limited. The front desk guy literally told me that if i cant pay with my card, i should go out to macdonalds or any convenience store to get food. In all, i couldnt wait for my time at the hotel to be done because i didnt find the team very supportive at all.

Not so convenient

Not so convenient from the Heathrow airport. Shuttle bus cost 6.80 pounds per person per trip. If your group is two persons or more, better to take Uber. However, it is a short distance from the public bus transport. From Heathrow take no.105 or 111, located within the airport terminal. Coat 1.75 pounds.

Location not so near airport

The receptionist was helpful to offer a room according to our needs. Breakfast was limited to buffet only. More choices or vending machines should be provided. The Shuttle Hoppa was UNRELIABLE.

Overnight before flight

A quick overnight trip so we would be closer to heathrow for an early morning flight. Hotel check in was fine! Rooms are small and the decor felt old to me. Thin matress and relatively hard pillows. Bonus though was the number of plugs. Cant say it was a great hotel and i would likely not come if not for proximity. However, it was cheap and that was what i was looking for!
