I had a very upsetting experience at this Super 8 in Bridgeview. My 3-year-old son got sick and threw up on hotel towels. Instead of showing any basic human decency, staff demanded $36 for towels and told us we had to pay or leave. When I calmly asked to speak to a manager, the male staff member became rude and told me to “get out his face.” That is completely unprofessional and unacceptable, especially when dealing with a parent and a sick child. We were threatened with eviction over a disputed towel fee, with no clear policy shown and no attempt to resolve the situation reasonably. Accidents with children happen this is normal wear and tear for a hotel, not grounds to treat guests like this. I felt harassed, disrespected, and unsafe. If you’re traveling with kids or expect basic customer service, do not stay here. I will be escalating this to corporate.
