Property is very nice and clean and the front desk was helpful. The issue I have is that the property is on a hill and upon arrival I walked inside to look for a luggage cart. I was pointed to around the corner where they were located. I returned to my car and struggled to get the luggage out of the car without the cart rolling down the hill. I witnessed another single mother attempting to check in and struggling with her cart and child so I lended a hand. Once inside I observed several employees sitting in the lobby chairs playing on their phones. This did not sit well with me. It would be nice for the hotel to provide someone to assist guests getting their luggage into the hotel due to the area you need to unload.

The front desk staff and valet staff were very informative and friendly. The restaurant, Dott Boss, offers incredible meals. In fact, I will definitely have to come back just for the banana bread French toast! The staff in the restaurant truly were so lovely. The brown sugar lattes will forever live rent free in my head. The proximity to the KC Streetcar is a real boon as well!

Close (1 block) to KC Streetcar stop so you can move around downtown with ease. Plenty of dining options two blocks south. The room was great, the bed was comfortable, good internet access, desk with a lot of space and everything was working as expected. No complains from me.

The hotel itself is great and the front desk people were great. But room staff are not. Was standing near door making coffee and room staff just opened the door and started to walk in. We skipped cleaning for green reasons the first day, but requested the room cleaned the next day for towels etc. We had to go to front desk and request twice before they finally cleaned it after 3:00. I left my Beats earbuds on the bedside table (I use them nightly) and they were taken. I was very frustrated, but blamed myself for leaving them laying there. So, it's a beautiful clean hotel with great front desk service - but the cleaning staff are not so much. Make sure and lock everything up!!!

The convenient location was a plus, but the fact that there were two Indigo Hotels in the same city confused me and other new and overseas visitors, as told by the Uber drivers who encountered numerous passengers with a similar situation. I was dropped off at the wrong hotel and had to find another Uber driver. I clicked the name Indigo Hotel when booking for the Uber and got the wrong one. Can it be made clearer?
