We had to check in late, about 1 am, due to unexpected traffic. They were accommodating to this. Facility is very nice and clean. Room was very clean. Comfy beds. Quiet for the 6 hours we were there. Convenient location and quiet area.

It was just what we needed. Had a couple busy days in the area, so didn’t spend much time there other than sleep. The place was clean and very conveniently located. Price was right The ladies at the front desk were super friendly and helpful with dining suggestions.

Room had a strong smell but we tolerated it with the AC going. TV didn’t work. Tried to call the front desk about the TV but the phone didn’t work. Toilet ran until I messed with the handle for a while.

Decent hotel for the weekend. Beds were comfy. A/C had trouble keeping up and the hair dryer in the bathroom was broken…could have used a little more attention to details, such as the bathroom fan needs cleaning and peeling wallpaper in the bathroom. Front desk employees were very nice and welcoming. Decent breakfast — waffle maker, toast, yogurt, oatmeal, eggs, sausage, coffee, milk, juices, muffins, fruit.

Very quiet - several people there those days but hardly a peep out of anyone. Did have issues with our room however. The toilet did not refill very fast. I looked and the float had been rigged in a subpar way. Noise of filling water for several minutes. Also the television kept having to reset and find channels after turning it off. Thankfully we only stayed one night or they would have had to change us rooms if not. Only a one time in and out stay thankfully.

Disappointing!! Beautiful, comfortable hotel. However, I had some work materials shipped there prior to my arrival and they rejected the shipment!! They need to check their reservations before rashly rejecting any shipments, especially if they cater to business people. If my reservation had not been pre-paid, I would have cancelled and gone somewhere else. Also, the breakfast was VERY Mediocre....not what I expected from a Microtel. No Bagels, no English Muffins, no boiled eggs, just bland toast and muffins, some yogurt and, of course, waffles....some of us do NOT eat waffles.

My daughter and I had an average-to-above-average stay at the Microtel Inn & Suites in Liberty, MO. The room was clean, and the location was convenient. However, what completely soured the experience was being overcharged by $35. I booked through Hotels.com, and the amount I was billed did not match my reservation. When I tried to resolve the issue, both Hotels.com and the hotel staff blamed each other and refused to take responsibility. I spent hours on the phone getting nowhere. In the end, I was simply told, “There’s nothing we can do.” This is unacceptable. I paid more than I agreed to, and neither company cared to make it right. If you're considering staying here—or using Hotels.com to book your trip—think twice. The lack of accountability and customer service is shocking. I won’t be booking with Microtel or Hotels.com again, and I recommend others avoid them as well.

Horrible experience. Had room reserved for my spouse. Before he even fully got out of the cab the front desk person came out to tell him she didnt have a reservation for him becauase they were full. He shows her the reservation and says expedia should have told us it was cancelled. Apparently they have a contract with the railroad that takes expedia rooms right out from the customers who have booked. She said theyre cancelling the contract with expedia because these instances keep happening. Didn't try to give a courtesy call. Didnt try to help find anything else or point us in the right direction. Didn't even apologize until we mentioned that. Worst customer service experience 😒. Not interested in staying with them or expedia ever again after this.

PLEASE READ IF PLANING TO STAY HERE: Hotel was nice and clean! Breakfast was very simple, only grab and go items other then the waffle maker. Also if you choose to “pay at hotel” setting when BOOKING FOR THIS HOTEL be careful because they charged me way more then what the original price was due to “rates changed” and didn’t honor my original price. Even tho I booked more then 2 weeks ago … I noticed the HUGE AMOUNT CHARGE AFTER CHECKING IN and WAS not notified until charged And was not to happy about this and had no where else to go, if I would have known before I wouldn’t have stayed here and probs would have stayed somewhere nice for the amount they charged me. I was told to make sure to read the “little fine print” so be aware of that! Also Expedia tried helping me but told me they couldn’t help me after they called hotel cuz of the same thing the hotel told me and they tried fighting it with hotel. I payed through hotel so they couldn’t help me/honor the price. They told me in order to avoid this next time to pay through app so hotel does not DO THAT TO you again and have a way to fight it. But other then that hotel was nice and clean and good location to eat/stores/ grocery shopping if needed.

Overall it was basically clean, but I noticed as soon as I walked into our room I could smell cigarette smoke! At one time, somebody has smoked in there! When I checked in the desk clerk was not very friendly- made a point to tell me no smoking in the rooms! Ha! Breakfast was very minimal, waffle maker, cereal bars, packaged muffins. Also I asked through Expedia to have room, close to elevator or in the first floor. Neither happened! Second floor, all the way to end of the hall!
