Breakfast choices were limited and staff had a hard time keeping food and coffee stocked for the number of guests at the hotel. Shower was slow to drain, so we could not shower for more than 60 seconds before we were standing in a puddle of water. Water pressure and temperature were nice, so I would have liked to take advantage.

My only disappointment was the tiny, awkward and dangerous parking lot and garage. And they charge a fee. However, upon checkout, when I said I was happy with everything but the parking, the staff member erased the parking fees. I did not expect that but appreciated it.

Did not feel safe walking around the area at night. Hotel was not well lit to find at night Parking was a fee that was not mentioned in the reservation. The last night the paid parking was not available and I had to park on the street. The hotel still charged me even though they said they wouldn’t at the front desk. Room was clean and accommodating. The pool was closed with a Dept of Health notification.

Stayed in this hotel with my husband and we were pleasantly surprised with a number of things: location (proximity to what we were visiting Kansas City for), amenities and cleanliness of the hotel, noise level was very low. Breakfast was amazing: egg and spinach patties, bacon, sausage patties, potatoes; hot oatmeal with a variety of dry fruit toppings; coffee and hot water with a selection of teas; selection of cereals; choice of English muffins, bagels, and toast; waffle iron. All members of the staff were very friendly, and the breakfast lady was very kind and funny. The only negative was the crazy slope to get into the underground parking—a bumper scratcher for sure! Overall, would definitely return and stay again.

Try to check in at 5:15 was a line of people and no rooms were available. Had to wait 30 minutes for a room. Turns out, im not sure the room got a full cleaning. Bathroom was still dirty. Got back late from a baseball game and no park was available. Would never recommend this hotel!

When we arrived my daughters went to look at pool and it had a sign on door that it was closed The young lady at the front desk was surprised when we told her , said she was off a fews days and wasn’t informed . We only stayed the one night but was looking forward to using pool , we were disappointed.

Terrible Service

The only redeeming thing about this place was Terrence at the front desk, otherwise it was an awful stay.Our room was never cleaned unless I asked for it. We stayed here for almost an entire week. The floors were never vacuumed. I had to request room cleaning every single day. Because it didn't get done. For 3 of the mornings we had breakfast there was no butter for the waffles and toast and bagels, whatever you might want to put a butter on. We will never stay here again.And I highly discourage you from booking a room at this hotel.
