Good trip to the KC area

Stayed here a couple nights for a family vacation. Nice, clean hotel. Breakfast was good and items were well-stocked. My only complaint were the pillows in the room. Some of them were relatively thin and hard. Overall a good stay and would definitely stay here again.

Needs a little love

Stoney Creek has been a fun staycation option for my husband and I for years -- the suites are great for the price -- but the hotel is starting to get a little run down. Nothing major, but things like the overhead light in the room being off kilter, the tub was kind of dirty, scuffs on the walls and furniture, and the balcony felt too unsafe for two people at once. The stay itself was fine, just not as good as it's been.

Overall, this is a very nice hotel--9 out of 10 rating. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. Check-in was very easy. Although a the dining area was a little small for the hotel size, the breakfast options were good--eggs, sausage, pastries, cereal, etc. the pool and fitness center were a little confusing to locate, being on the lower level in the corner, with elevators that were not well marked. The main elevators were also not well marked, but easy to access once we found them. I wanted to point out the staff a little. We had an issue with about 8-10 kids running up and down the halls at 11:00+ at night. They stopped when I asked them to, but moved to a room (probably no adults) and continued the "party" there. I contacted the front desk and the agent there handled the issue almost immediately. Well done! Between that and a couple little things throughout our stay, I would say the customer service was very good. Definitely worth a stay, and well worth the price, given what hotels rent for now. You won't be disappointed if you book here.

Pool / hot tub drained day of arrival

We’ve stayed at this property before and chose to return because of how clean and well maintained the facility is and most importantly the pool & hot tub which are required for any hotel stay with my family. The pool & hot tub were shut down that day and zero effort to discount the stay was made when asked.

One night stay...OKAY..would give another try.

There were a couple of things I didn't like about the stay. The pool was closed due to glass in the pool. I didn't like that they didn't offer a reasonable discount. It's one of the reasons we chose this location. The breakfast was a typical hot breakfast with fake eggs, undercooked tasteless potatoes, sausage, ect. and nothing was hot..it was cold. Just thought with the room price this should be better. When I returned my room keys to the front desk in the morning the person at the desk had an off-putting attitude and lacked a smile. The rest of the staff were friendly and at least acted liked they enjoyed their job. We like the isolation of the location, with good lighting and security, a large pond and walking areas. We didn't utilize the pro shop but liked the closeness of eating choices.

Cheer competition trip

Jacob was so friendly and helpful. We will stay at this place when we return for a cheer competition next year.We were able to walk to Bass Pro Shop and loved the water view. Breakfast was very good. We even stayed an extra night there. Very nice place to stay!
