I recently stayed at the Grand Palladium Jamaica and wanted to share my experience. While the property itself is beautiful and well-maintained, and the staff were consistently warm and professional throughout my stay, I unfortunately encountered a few issues that impacted my overall experience. First, I was offered a couples massage during my stay, which I did not accept. However, I was surprised to find that my room was still billed for the service. This was disappointing and created unnecessary confusion. Additionally, I found the quality of the food to be quite poor, which fell short of the expectations I had for a resort of this caliber. Although I appreciated the hospitality and the upkeep of the grounds, I do not believe I would choose to stay at the Grand Palladium again based on these experiences. Thank you for taking the time to review my feedback. I hope it helps in enhancing the experience for future guests.

We enjoyed our stay. The villas are clean and comfy but separate from main area so you have to walk or take golf carts. Food was delicious. Pool and beach are nice with plenty of shade. some peeling paint around the pool but wtvr. The food by the pool is rice and beans and chicken or pork every day. Would be nice to change it up. Drinks were great. My kids 10&12 loved spending time at the teen club- the kids club was too babyish for them. They made friends from across the world and still keep in touch with them. The staff at the teen club were great. They played video games with them and really kept them entertained. The shows at night were good but started a bit late for my liking. I think it’s bec they had a kids show earlier. Two issues: there was no entertainment by the pool. Most resorts have a schedule of activities/games, but it was just music all day. There was ONE single game when a staff member came and threw dominoes into the pool, and teams had to gather the most to win. It was fun and they should do more things like that! The biggest issue: Certain lifeguards making passes at me asking to exchange phone numbers (I said no). I was there as a single mom with my kids and it made me feel very vulnerable and uncomfortable. I’m sure some people on vacation might like that kind of thing but it was totally unsolicited and unprofessional and I felt like I had to avoid certain areas or making eye contact. I hope someone speaks to them about this unacceptable behavior.

We enjoyed our stay. The location is a little too large and crowded for our liking. The food options were not very good. Out of all the restaurants we went to we never tasted anything we actually enjoyed. A good tip for exhausted travelers would be to let them check in and get to their rooms then try to book extra options a little later once they’ve had some time to unwind.

Beautiful Room, But Overall Experience Doesn’t Justify the Price While the room I stayed in was beautiful and included a lovely balcony, I found this hotel to be overpriced for what it offers. One of the key challenges was on-property transportation. The resort is quite large, and we experienced long wait times for carts and shuttles, which became inconvenient. The buffet was average, and there is definitely room for improvement in the food department. For a resort of this caliber, I expected fresh-pressed juices, a wider variety of fruits beyond just melon, and clear vegan options to accommodate different dietary needs. Entertainment was okay but lacked consistency and variety throughout the week, and could benefit from more engaging, well-curated programming. As a certified yoga instructor, I was especially disappointed in the yoga class offered. It did not reflect safe or authentic yoga instruction, and honestly, it raises a potential liability issue for guests who may not be experienced. I would strongly recommend the hotel review who they contract or hire as yoga instructors. If the hotel is open to consultation or training for proper wellness experiences, I’d be happy to help. Suggestions for Improvement: • Improve internal transportation systems to reduce wait times across the property. • Expand and elevate food offerings: add fresh-pressed juices, diverse fruits, and plant-based options. • Enhance entertainment programming to engage guests consistently. •

I expected so much more from this resort especially as a fellow Jamaican. The staff was extremely disrespectful and took a very long time to respond for amenities. It seems that the resort rooms are not maintained regularly due to the air conditioner not working and refrigerator breaking down as well. In addition, the pool was not maintained properly as we saw vomit in the pool for 2 days while there. For the amount of money that was spent, I truly expected better than what was received.

The property is huge and beautiful. Has a big wrap around pool. The property is very big. My villa was pretty far from the main area so I appreciate the gulf carts doing drop offs and pick ups. Very Dissatisfied

This is my 3rd time here. This time around, the staff was not as friendly. For 2 days, housekeeping barely cleaned the room and did not leave any face or hand towels. Multiple times I contacted guest relations with no answer. After finally getting them on the phone, I requested towels twice and once in person at the counter and still received none. Moot even a floor towel. The reservation process is not good and although I had reserved, it did not go through. Upon entering my room, there was still the previous guests clothes on the balcony. This will most likely be my last stay here after spending thousands of dollars on this particular trip. Very unsatisfied.

I booked a villa which sleeps 4 people had to pay extra for my 3 year old grandson .It was only 3 guests . Staff was not friendly my Expedia concierge was never available to me in my time of need . The water I’m my bathroom sink was stagnant would go down . They took 2 days to fix it . My room had a sewer smell. Didn’t like the facilities everything closed so early like the pool and restaurants . The employees didn’t seem happy with their jobs. My checkout experience was a nightmare . They didn’t want to let me off the property because the checkout agent kept my card . I had to create a scene in order for the staff to figure it out . I will never stay at this hotel or its affiliated properties . I had a horrible experience
