Only one night, wish it was longer beautiful hotel
Always a lovely place to stay and lovely staff. Stunning view of the harbor from our room, the only downside was that we could hear the people in the room next door.
Well presented apartment with two good separate bedrooms - comfortable dining/lounge area and well equipped kitchen. Close to harbour, Mount, hot pools, restaurants and beach. Definitely will use next time!
Good 4 star accommodation in resort part of complex.
The location was excellent, facilities were in good condition and it was nice and quiet. The only issue at all that I had was the bedroom window which faced the internal stairs(atrium). The internal stairs are brightly lit all night and the blinds on the windows are inadequate at blocking out this ...
Great apartment, close to beach and amenities. Great views
Hotel need a designated smoking area. And the range of alcohol was very limited. Thank you
Old 80's style decor. Not nice rooms and in the middle of renovating the conference rooms. Expensive for one night.
Property is a bit dated, everything worked but could do with a refresh sometime. Not flash but did what we needed for a night. Appreciated being upgraded to a bigger room than we had paid for.
Whether you are a Kiwi or just love to eat kiwifruit, you might wonder where that nickname came from, anyway. Well, blame the Bay of Plenty: More than 90% of New Zealand’s kiwis are grown here. Aside from the freshest fruits around, Tauranga has the best beaches, too—ask anyone! See for yourself on your next getaway.
If you came to party, you’re in the right place. But if you came to relax, well, you’re also in the right place! With hotels in Tauranga near Mount Maunganui, you can surf, catch up on those beach reads or get your day-drink on at the many restaurants. Then soothe those tired muscles (whether from surfing or just lifting all those beers to your face) at the hot salt water pools at the base of the mountain.
Next, get a change of scenery with a dolphin-sighting excursion or fishing trip. If the only scenery switch you need is a new beach, take a quick flight over to Motiti Island. With a population of 27, you’ll definitely have plenty of elbow room. Sick of sand in your suit? No need to rinse your toes with Tauranga hotels near the waterfront promenade. Spend the day shopping and sipping lattes instead!
Flights to Tauranga Airport (TRG) will touch down right in Mount Maunganui. Hop in a cab to drop your stuff at your Tauranga accommodation, then use the ferry and bus service to get around. Looking to explore? Check out sweet car hire deals on lastminute.co.nz. Plus, the city’s just about two-and-a-half hours south of Auckland, so motoring down on your own set of wheels (that you can get from lastminute.co.nz) works too.
You’ll never want for anything on a trip to the Bay of Plenty, especially when you book Tauranga holidays through lastminute.co.nz. Bundle your airfares and accommodation, and one thing you’ll definitely have plenty of is cold, hard cash.
