Everything is perfect. Good location. Good service. But the only thing is you need to pay for the amenity fee and taxes for each day that you spent time at the hotel. And they not tell you that until you check out.

Great location and fun vibe

This resort has the perfect location, located at the southern most tip and end of Duval. Check in was easy and our room overlooked the Pineapple pool and bar, which made for fun evenings sitting on our balcony. The only downside to this resort was I felt the room was a little outdated and the bathroom was very small. The room was overall big, but only one chair to sit on. The rooms need work…. But you cannot beat its location and the employees were all great. My favorite was the trivia games at the pool to win free drinks and the music they played at the pool. The resort is actually very big with three pools. I would recommend spending the month on either the ocean view or pool views with balcony’s

We loved our room and it's proximity to the breakfast area, pools, and beach. Everything was very clean. We also loved having a bike/golf cart rental store across the street from our room and they allowed us to park our golf cart at the store for free which meant we didn't need to pay for parking at the hotel. Our only issue was that there was a lot of seaweed in the ocean at the hotel this time of year which meant swimming in the ocean was not an option. The other side of the island had no seaweed, though, so we just took the golf cart for a short drive to a great beach.

The amount of seaweed on the beach, have the smell of rotten fish, to were we could not use the beach in stand the pools with that smell. The entire resort stunk and they had the nerve to charge me around $75 a day for AMENEDIES fees and taxes, when we couldn’t even use the amenities and since when are the amenities not I closed in the hotel price and parking was $43 a day. At checkout we had a bill of $800, after what we had already spent for the hotel. I am willing to pay for the dinner, drinks and even the parking, but a credit should be given for the amenities, when we couldn’t even use them because of the smell of the seaweed, which was not cleaned off the beach. Never going there again.

We booked Southernmost Beach Resort for our honeymoon, and WOW! The room was impeccably clean, the shores pool/bar was amazing and a lot of fun each day with DJ’s, activities, etc. The Beach Cafe has a phenomenal dinner and is a great view right on the water. Everything you need is right at the property, so if you want a laid back vacation that’s exactly what you’ll get. It’s also close to get to the action of Duval so you get the best of both worlds. This is a MUST book! Amazing experience!

The front desk staff was amazingand very accommodating. The guest house rooms were beautifully and tastefully decorated. The breakfast at Dewey House was very nice with an omelet station and plenty of choices like bagels, croissants, fruit and avocado toast. The pool options were great and there was live music some days and opportunities for rum and beer tastings. The only things I would improve are just personal preferences: I would have liked a full length mirror and more places to hang towels; they're was no towel rod by the shower. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

We enjoyed our stay at Southernmost resort. Our room in the Atlantic building was quiet, clean and had a nice view of the ocean. Lots of spaces to lounge throughout property, including a pier, three pools, spa and good restaurant. Loved location. Easy to book bikes, golf cart or excursions. We would definitely stay here again.

The place was amazing. The bellman were absolutely awesome 10/10, so friendly and helpful. Be sure to ask them for a taxi to the airport when you leave!! Same price if not cheaper than an uber, and great service.

The room was very comfy with a beautiful view of the ocean! We walked to Louie’s Backyard for our 30th wedding anniversary dinner and had a wonderful time. The food and view were amazing!

5th time staying in key west, 4th time staying at the property. Love it there but was little put off. Our balcony on the 3rd floor had ants. They were also in our bathroom and bed area. On our second day room service forgot about us. I called front desk on 3rd day I called front seat because our garbage was overflowing, we were out of paper products and needed new towels, I thought they should have waved a couple of resort fees

The property was nice the only thing that I noticed was the smell from the seaweed that washed onto the shore. Otherwise, the service was excellent, the food options around the area was great, and we were able to rest and relax.

The property was nice but the smell was so bad that we’re were unable to enjoy it at all. If we were at the resort we had to stay in from the smell. We had to leave and go to a different beach away from the resort because the smell was so bad. It’s smelled like a porta potty! I literally gagged multiple times.
