Our room was not facing the ocean/beach -I can't comment on that, but everything else was very nice. A little bit noisy, but it was understandable because it was Fantasy Fest where everybody had their own party schedule. It's very centric, with restaurants and places ro eat at walking distance. Very nice surroundings and very nice staff.

Our room was clean and spacious however the shower was after pressure was very low and asked to be moved to another room. The second room had better water pressure (still not great) but was much smaller and next door to the cafe which was very noisy during business hours. On our last day there was a leak in our room which resulted in our clothes getting wet before checking out. As part of the upgrade to the room with the better water pressure we were given access to the Dewey House complimentary breakfast, it was not worth the fuss. The food selection was poor. We won’t be returning to this property unfortunately, it’s very much style over substance, it doesn’t get the basics right and is very expensive with additional amenity and parking fees. Due to the issues we went through the hotel manager did waive our parking fees ($50 per night) but we did have to pay for the amenity fees ($65 per day)

You can’t beat the view from this hotel! It’s in a quiet area, but a short walk or Uber to nightlife and activity. Love the semi private beach. The rooms could use a little updating, but that doesn’t stop us from staying here.
