The Westin Cincinnati is great option for a hotel in downtown. Local to lots of food options and public transportation, as well as the stadiums and museums. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. We had a great view of Fountain Square, but be aware if you need absolute silence at night since there may be music events. Overall a positive stay and I would definitely stay again should we visit again.

They gave one of our double rooms away. We were prepaid. Put me and 1 child on one floor. The other 3 were put on a different floor. The reservations were for 2 rooms with double beds. We showed up at 1 and they would not let us check in. I called on a previous day and made sure to tell them my rooms need to be together. You have to pay for parking. I even asked for early check in.

We stayed one night and I’m very glad for that. I’ve never stayed in a hotel with nastier floors. My one year old was crawling around and looked like he came out of the coal mines. The floors turned his knees and feet completely black. Our socks went from white to completely black. It was very unsettling and made for a pretty unappealing stay. We will not be back and I would gladly steer people elsewhere for their stay.

We had asked for an early check in and we’re not able to check in until after 4 pm. I received a text message from the hotel at 530 pm that our room was ready. The Front Desk Manager was very unprofessional in handling the situation. When we were finally in our room a housekeeping supervisor opened our door and told us that we were not supposed to be in the room

It's a big vacuous impersonal interior space with inconvenient escalators, a fully automated elevator system that makes it seem even more impersonal and robotic, no charming details, no memorable traits to the interior at all. The room is nice and clean but expect to hear your neighbors. Also, while downtown Cincinnati has some excellent restaurants, it's a mishmash of homeless people, lovely historic buildings, empty plazas, impressive murals and some overpriced hotel restaurants. What we did like is it's dog-friendly with one of the smaller fees, and parking is only $21 for 24 hours.

We try to stay at the Westin every time we’re in town. We don’t have a bad thing to say. Haley @ check in desk is so friendly! Seeing Paul at the lobby bar adds to our fabulous stay! We look forward to seeing him. He’s always so nice & on top of slinging drinks for the busy night time rush! We’ll be back soon!
