Everything was great for my type of vacation. Everything I needed was in walking distance of the hotel. Only thing wrong was that the tv didn't work but it didn't diminish from my comfort. I will be back 😄
Stay away from this place! I’ve stayed in backpackers to luxury hotels all over the world and I reckon this place is across the board the worst! Where to start…..on check in… TV didn’t work, safe didn’t work, no wi-fi. After numerous complaints to staff that couldn’t care less. They came to my room and fixed nothing! This place is falling apart. It’s like an abandoned resort. No one is here! They told me I’d have to wait till tomorrow to change rooms. The next morning I finally “lost it” and abused the staff in front of people checking in. Finally they started organising my new room but still had to wait till 3 pm! 24 hours to get a new room which wasn’t much better. The restaurant was terrible. The first three items on the menu I tried to order they didn’t have! Had to go with a horrible beef burger. Actually sitting outside on the waterfront was pretty nice. However after an hour and multiple requests to the waiter I finally got my change for the meal. I was assuming he was hoping I would forget. Every staff member in this place doesn’t care. Service apart from a couple of people was pathetic. Breakfast was supposed to be 7.30 am. About 8.20 they started getting organised. This place is so bad it’s actually funny! The aircon in the room was like a jet taking off every time it kicked in. The area around here is just a dump. There is nothing here apart from basically a shanty town. I could write pages about this “resort”. Stay away!!!
We stayed 2 nights to be close and convenient to the airport for departure. The "salt water" pool was very cloudy and unkept which was disappointing. Also there was construction on the property which was very noisy.
The place was average and needed some renovations. The room had rotted areas and no microwave, phone, iron and a remote tv. For a place in Jamaica they did not have local breakfast.
