I understand that the property uses an automated check-in system, but when I arrived at the hotel there was nobody except me for check-in. I would have appreciated that the staff at the front desk, doing nothing in particular, instead of asking me to use the check-in machine, would have helped me for check-in and done it at the counter as it used to be done. I find very unfortunate to have to use such machine, which is only convenient for the hotel but not for the customer as it is time-demanding to register all personal information. Having people dealing with customers for such service is more human and more friendly. We are not robots.

A friend came to pick us up and drop us off so transportation was not a problem. Not crowded and thankfully not too many tourists. It looked like more working people stayed there.

Convenient hotel, not too far walk to the train station. The hotel is fine, nice breakfast and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is a Seven 11 next door. Rooms are fine and average size for Japanese hotels.

Walking distance from kokura station with nearby mall and Uomachi Gintengai Street. Room is small but decent with amentities provided. Friendly staff assist with the check in as well as the luggage storage prior check in and post check out.
