Paradise!!

Excellent apartment with excellent hosts. The apartment is beautifully maintained and very comfortable. Right across from a naturally formed cove with the appearance of a swimming pool. You can jump off the rocks, there's a small sandy beach and metals stairs on many rocks so you can get in the water. It is a little paradise, I highly recommend it.

Fantastic visit

The Maryianni property is a terrific option for Avlemonas and Kythera. Extremely well maintained and located, the ease of access to town and swimming cove is fantastic. The hosts that I encountered, Eleni and Manos, were very warm and generous, a pleasure to meet. If you are visiting Avlemonas, stay here, you will be happy that you did. I am.

Eleni and Manos were absolutely the best hosts - charming and gracious. They did everything in their utmost to make us feel comfortable and at home. Our only regret is that we did not stay a bit longer. Avlemonas is absolutely the perfect village to stay in during your time in Kythera. The apartment is more gorgeous and well looked after than the photos initially suggest. You are very lucky to be staying so near the water, in these heavenly baths of Aphrodite. If like us you are interested in architecture and churches, do not hesitate in asking Eleni and Manos for more information - on an island like Kythera - it is best to lean on the generosity and wisdom of locals.
