I was unable to reside here due to the elevator being unavailable. I was not able to carry my necessary luggage / equipment up the stairs so I needed to change locations. It was just an inconvenience more than a bad review on the property . First world problems

Guy too busy

The guy who checked us in didn’t check to see that I had requested an accessible unit so had to check in twice. Then when we got to the room there were no towels or wash cloths so called down. He said he was too busy so I needed to come down to get them.

Mattress was horrible, sink in the bathroom dripped constantly. Our room was next to the ice machine so it woke us up several times during the night when people were getting ice.

Almost everything about the hotel except the bed was satisfactory. Good service, decent breakfast, pool, things were clean. But the whole point of getting a hotel was needing a place to sleep--so if it fails here, how can I give a good rating? The mattress was impossibly hard. I never leave hotel reviews but I was lying in bed (ON bed would be a better way to put it...it felt like lying on a board) unable to sleep composing this review. I slept terribly and woke up sore all over. I'm not normally that picky about mattresses but these were just awful. Also the shower handle didn't work properly--it was loose, which meant either you had to keep the water colder than comfortable, or you had to run the risk of the handle falling down mid-shower and turning the water way too hot.

This has been one of my favorite places to stay during our vacation. The guys at check in were super nice. Gave us maps and suggestions of places to see. They even offered to have the kids down and they would teach them chess! Breakfast was wonderfully set up. I would def stay there again!

Don’t miss this great Mitel!!!

This stay was amazing! The hotel was so clean! The breakfast was hot, eggs, bacon, cereals, muffins nicely presented. We will stay here on our next stay in Knoxville!!! Lovely check in and the clerk was so friendly!!!
