Kosaka features just one place to stay within a 10-kilometre radius of the city centre.

The Towadako Lakeside Hotel, Aomori, which is the closest hotel, sits 10 kilometres from downtown Kosaka. Another handy choice is the Towada Prince Hotel, located in Aomori, 8 kilometres from the heart of Kosaka.

The Hotel Crown Palais Shuhoku is located 25 kilometres from the heart of Kosaka. Or, alternatively, the Towadako Country Road is situated 10 kilometres away. Some other hotel options include the Towadako Backpackers and the Yachi Onsen Spa.

Why don't you broaden your horizons and enjoy the other attractions to be found in Tohoku? Photograph Tohoku's forests and lakes. You could also visit the area's ruins, castles and old towns. Common things to do in this part of Japan include snowboarding, skiing and tobogganing.

It's well known that Australians are pretty laid back, so consider staying a little longer and check out the Sannai Maruyama and Aspam Center, which you'll find in Aomori, 50 kilometres to the north of Kosaka.
