hotel is very old.. practically nothing works properly.. - system was glitchy so check in took nearly 30min - room card programming malfunctioned a couple times - ac is not cold - wifi is terrible - phone does not work properly - lights are busted - bathroom needs upgrading - carpet (and other crevices) is filthy - room smelled musky positives: great location

We had a great stay overall. We got to check in early, the room was spacious and location of the hotel is excellent. Cleanliness can be improved especially since there was one day where it was obvious no vacuuming was done and trash and dirty spoon were left after room cleaning was done. The gym was also not regularly monitored and had to keep calling for them to replace the water in the water dispenser. We love the convenience of location so for this we will choose to stay here again.

Don’t be misled by the nice photos of the lobby, as soon as you get to all levels of the hotel you will see how run down and outdated it looks. We stayed 6 nights. Odour from thick carpet in hallways and rooms, chipped wash basin, uneven tiles in bathroom and silicone sealant patches here and there. Thank you to the lovely housekeeper lady for your hard work and greetings.

Tried and true Holiday Inn Golden Mile

HIGM is a great hotel for location, big rooms, and a great executive lounge. It does need a little work on its decor to make it a bit more modern.
