The staff at the reception was really nice. On our first night (3rd floor) we heard a lot of noise from above (like a cat or something). We couldn’t sleep at all but thanks to the staff we could move to the 2nd floor.
Everything else was okey…you have a little Night market nearby. We always paid for the transport to the ao nang beach.
Upon arrival the hotel is nothing like how it appears in the photos, it's run down and dirty. There are used towels and laundry strewn about the hotel lobby area and stairs (no lift). The hotel staff leave for the night around 7pm and return only in the morning so there is no one to bring concerns to or go to for help. The room was filthy and stank of sewage coming up from the drain. There were bugs, old hair, stains on the rug and bedding, mildew, and the comforter even had mold growing on it. The bedroom only has two outlets and so far away from the beds. The hotel advertises free WiFi but the WiFi is ONLY in the lobby so all the guests cram in there on wooden benches and they have no AC but leave the doors and windows open so once again, dirt and animals. NO security. We paid extra through Expedia for the "breakfast" but staff did not want to give it to us because they said we did not. We didn't want to eat it after seeing it anyway, dirty food cubicles and only old cereal, bread and over ripe watermelon pieces. Coffee was instant only and after trying the hot water receptor dead ants came out of it on 3 separate tries. Absolutely horrible experience.
Place was great. A little out of the way, but I don't mind a walk. The pool area fell short as the beds and chairs were either taken or broken. There weren't many

I give 2.5 star
First time stay at this hotel. Room was okay only that matters to me that your hotel doesn't provide the water boiler/ kettle to make coffee & tea. Location quiet far inside and need to walk or get the tutuk at the main road. Or if u r lucky u will find the tutuk passby the area.

Disappointed. Definitively not recommend
There is nothing around the hotel. You need to walk to take a tuktuk to the center.
Seem like very few people at the hotel. We met just 3, 4 peoples only. Around 5-6pm, we don't see any staff at the reception. And at night, we finally found a guy but he did not speak English.
The bathroom tap was broken. No hot water at the first day.
At the last day, the staff asked us 20 baht to make a call for bus service. Even, an unknown guy outside the hotel helped us for free. Don't find any welcome here.
Really bad impression about the hotel staff.

New hotel
Pros:
Nice pool
New rooms
TV and fridge in room
Breakfast included
Cons:
Dirty sheets
Minimal staff presence
Nothing in the game room
Nothing around hotel except a Thai Boxing Stadium
Good hotel, 2 ladies at front desk not understand even a single word in English; Power cut in mid night makes it annoying; No breakfast supplied; But in the web site, breakfast was mentioned. However it is a good "budget hotel".

Very far from beach in jungle
It's too far from aao bang beach in jungle and facilities are not at par.
I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all.
This hotel was still in the process of being built when we stayed here (Feb 2014). Construction work was going on for a pool, but thankfully they kept the work within reasonable hours. The interior of the hotel was almost completely empty with very few furnishings, just empty areas of white tile. The outside was just a dusty mess. There was no air-conditioning in the communal areas, which was annoying as the (free) Wifi only worked in the 'lobby' (empty room with a few chairs), and it was very hot. The room was quite nice except for the bed : all we were given was a bottom sheet, and two small blue polar fleece blankets (only big enough for one person). This is not ideal for a romantic holiday with your boyfriend as the blankets could not be shared and there was no top sheet, so we just had itchy blankets to sleep under and a sheet underneath. I had to ask specifically for another sheet, and the staff thought I was a bit weird but eventually gave me one. The shower drain was absolutely clogged with hair and I had to clean it out myself.
We weren't allowed to wear slippers or shoes in the hall and I the corridors which would be fine but the floor didn't seem to be cleaned for Weeks! It was really disgusting. The room was clean though. The wireless Internet is only available in the lobby where there is no aircon. Also we had a room booked with breakfast included. It is just pure luck what you get for breakfast. The first morning the was no bread. And we could see guests waiting for the staff to serve some food at least. When we asked for the room to be made up they did not even enter. Left us two bottles of water in front of our door. And they don't call you a taxi but give you a phone number so you can use your own phone. If you can book another hotel, you better do it.
The hotel is clean and the owner / manager is very friendly & helpfull. will be staying again in the future. (-**-)

Good for 1 night
The room was clean with nice windows. The bathroom was clean but the smells coming from the sink and from all the drains it was absolutely disgusting even with the windows opened. However if you leave the windows opened the room will be filled up with starving mosquitoes and wasps. The hotel is good if you have a very small budget and if you are willing to walk a lot and in the dark during the night. They borrow you the bicycles just for 2 maximum 3 hours. If you want explore Krabi you must hire a scooter. They advise you that the Nopparat Thara beach or Ao Nang beach are not good for swimming so it means that you have to take a boat to the crowded Railay. Anyway for a really tiny budget the place is ok but I would not recommend this place.
This hotel was simple, clean, and a 10-15 min walk to the beach. The lady who appeared to be in charge at the hotel was very helpful. On my last day she gave me a ride into town before 6am to catch the bus to the airport. She even fixed a breakfast of a sandwich and banana to give to me that morning. Very thoughtful and this extra care made this place great. The only issue I had was no wifi in the room. The lobby area was big and comfortable and I used the wifi there. Nice quiet place away from town

Very nice manager - a little far away
The manager was great, she took us to Krabi's busy strip with all the hotels and restaurants and stores, she helped us with tours, very cheap. You get a lot more than what you paid for. It is a buit far away but they lend you bikes and take you to the busy strip and pick you up. Its very quiet as it is a bit far away from the noise and movement of Ao nang.
We are very happy with our stay. The manager and the staff of the hotel are very nice. They go above and beyond call of duty to accommodate us. The hotel is a bit away from tourist beach, but the manager would drive us there if we want it too. However, the local beach has beautiful sand, and less tourist. It is very nice if you want a piece of quiet for yourself. It closed to Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday night market where we can go find local stuff and food for cheap.
