Great place to stay in Hobart

A real character property which has been renovated sympathetically. Very comfortable room, walk to anywhere in Hobart, great restaurant, bar and beautiful little vine-covered beer garden. Staff are very attentive and helpful. Will be back.

Really lovely front desk and housekeeping staff, friendly and helpful. Comfortable stay, one bedroom apartment in main building. Very clean room even though some aspects of the room are getting a bit worn from age but it didn’t detract from our stay. Very comfortable bed. Tip, make sure you call the hotel at time of booking to reserve a parking spot onsite. Hotel is easy walking distance from Salamanca and waterfront. Would recommend this hotel. Thank you Woolstore staff :)

We stayed for 3 nights and the rooms were spacious and clean. Bathroom and Toilet were standard but reasonably clean. Kitchen was clean and sufficiently furnished with utensils and appliances one might need. Plenty of space in living room section. Would have preferred a slightly comfortable bed. Overall reasonable apartment hotel close to Wharf and city centre with convenient parking on premises.

This is a wonderful apartment to stay in Hobart. The size was perfect. We especially liked having a washer/dryer in the unit. Also I was able to get a drying rack delivered to the room. I also liked the full kitchen and a balcony. We couldn’t have asked for anything more.

Excellent location, was able to walk to pubs, shops, markets etc. easy location to get in and out of when driving around Hobart. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay and spacious. Only criticism would be the shower was barely a dribble, had to dance a bit. I would stay here again.

The Old Woolshed is perfectly located near the jetties on the harbour. Big rooms, great breakfast including Bircher muesli and poached eggs, and the location is superb for both the CBD and the many tours from Hobart.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The price was quite high for the dated room. The shower was full of mould, the showerhead kept falling and the water only dribbled out, the extra blanket taken from the cupboard was dirty and the room smelt stale. Despite booking a carpark, it was difficult to find one and even had to park in the drop off parks twice overnight

Highly recommend Old Woolstore, from the moment of checking on you’re made to feel welcome, every staff member greets you with a “good morning/afternoon” and restaurant staff are knowledgeable and on their game so top marks on training in customer service Rooms are clean, modern and very comfortable. Will definitely stay again.
