This was our first stay at Hotel Polski Pod. We arrived late at night but received a friendly professional welcome. A pleasant well kept building combining traditional features with sympathetic modern updates. Conveniently located a short walk up a quiet side street just far enough away from bustling nightlife of Krakow. Our bedroom was spotlessly clean and plenty warm enough despite the cold weather. All staff were pleasant and helpful. The breafast offers plenty of continental choice and some hot items ie bacon, eggs, sausages but not 'Full English'. However we would happily return here.

Exceptional. Great location - in old city, 5 min walk to the main square, 10 min to train station, next door to amazing historical museum. Breakfast buffet is amazing, many Polish dishes to try local cuisine. You feel like living in a historical palace, in fact it is so.

Overall was a pleasant stay. Great location and traditional style hotel. The beds were not comfortable and the breakfast was far from 5 star. Our room was very grand and had nice furnishings, but unfortunately we wouldn’t return mostly because of the uncomfortable beds.

The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Beautiful, spacious room which was thoroughly serviced every day throughout our stay. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful with all aspects of our stay. The breakfast area was a delight and the kitchen staff provided a wide variety of delicious foods to savour. I am a 73 year old woman who travels alone. I have stayed here twice when taking a few days off from my volunteer work in Poland. I like the warm, comforting feeling staying in an older hotel. The rooms are quiet, uniquely decorated & the breakfast is fantastic. The staff is very friendly & I have enjoyed conversing with them. It is very close to the main square and I walk to anywhere I want to go. It is also about a 10 minute walk from the train station. I recommend eating dinner at Tivoli Restaurant.
