So beautiful and amazing hospitality. Would come back here again. Mind you, you may need to take the city bus here from Kyoto station but recommend uber if you have large luggage’s

Loved this hotel so much! It’s small but cozy. As soon as you walk in you take off your shoes and I loved that. They also offer you green tea when you check in. The location is very close to Gion and the hotel is a 15 minute walk to the closest station. The rooms are spacious and since the hotel is small I had the onsen all to myself at times which I really liked. The staff were all great and overall I highly recommend this ryokan.

I truly enjoyed the attentive, kind, and professional service from the staff. I was pleasantly surprised that most of the staff spoke English, even though this was a traditional Japanese ryokan.
