Such a nice and convenient location. Only five minutes walk from the Kyoto station. Easily accessible for bus services. Staff is super friendly. I loved their amenity bar. They also offer ice creams, and drinks for snack. Also, got my kids involved in some kid activities that they had inside the hotel. All in all great property I would definitely go there again. Highly recommend recommended.

Great location and excellent staff! They offer daily activities for kids and provide complimentary alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks every day. There’s even a free “make-your-own ice cream sundae” station daily, which my kids loved. They also have a thoughtful complimentary amenity station where you can grab anything you might’ve forgotten—like shaving cream, shower caps, ponytail holders, toothbrushes, face masks, and more. The only downside, and this may vary by personal preference, is the breakfast. It’s mostly Japanese-style, with few options for American-style kids’ tastes. My kids didn’t really eat, but my husband absolutely loved it. Overall, it’s a wonderful place for families, and we really enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Richmond Hotel Kyoto Station! The location is unbeatable—with a bus stop right outside and Kyoto Station just a short walk away, getting around the city was incredibly convenient. The morning buffet was a delightful surprise—fresh, varied, and delicious, with a kids’ breakfast option for just 1800 yen, which made mornings easy and enjoyable for the whole family. The hotel itself is clean, modern, and comfortable, with warm hospitality from the staff. We truly loved our stay and would gladly return. Highly recommended for families and travelers who value both comfort and convenience.

This was a beautiful place to stay and the staff were awesome, very kind and helpful. A great location to the train station. A lovely quiet place to stay. The free soft serve ice cream and refreshments and the wine tasting was a great bonus especially after a hot day. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would come back to stay here again.
