Well maintained property with exceptionally pleasant staff. Breakfast was wonderful, with an on-staff omelette chef cooking to order. I had booked 4 nights, but owing to an airline delay arrived the second morning. I fully expected to pay the contracted 4 nights, but instead they checked me in early and charged for only 3! I will certainly stay at this hotel on future visits to Lubbock. I believe the expression is "Wreck 'em!"

It was graduation weekend and the hotel was completely booked. The hotel is five floors. The elevator went out Thursday night and was out for at least the next two days, as it still wasn't fixed when we chcked out on Saturday. They had staff running peoples luggage and things for them, but it made the whole stay kind of inconvenient. Other than that and being a little dated, our stay there was really nice.

Bed was terrible. Staff moved us to another room that had a better bed. Thank you! Shower drain was poor. Water collected after couple minutes. Toilet seat was loose. Bathrooms could be cleaner. Some mold visible on tiles.

My daughter and I stayed here for Texas Tech orientation. Not only did they shuttle us to/from the airport but they shuttled us to/from wherever we needed to go during our stay. The 3 drivers we met were polite and had cold water to offer us. Lubbock was very hot and we were walking all around campus each day. They had free breakfast every morning starting at 6am and free appetizers and beer every night from 6 to 7pm. The bartender was friendly and helped you watch the time so you wouldn’t forget to get another free drink at 659pm. When we had to check out, they allowed us late check out closer to our departing flight since we had no car and were really exhausted at that point. They also had a gym with convenient hours. The beds were super comfortable and we slept great without loud people and noise. The front staff were awesome and answered any questions we had during our stay. They also have a restaurant and bar in the evenings if you get hungry or want a drink without having to go anywhere. Overall great experience with great service and people!

Would stay here again.

Very nice hotel. Not new, but still clean & homey. The restaurant & bar is great to have on location. We didn't have to leave to get anything. The breakfast was fresh & convenient. The waiter that night was a bit unattentive but overall a comfortable stay.

if this is for just a quick trip and just to have a place to stay for a night or two......needs updates....standing water in the shower....not going to rate poor because it is obvious the hotel is old but price is equivalent to the condition

This place does not look like it does in the pictures. This hotel is in need of a serious makeover. It’s really old and it stinks. There’s no snack bar but there is a restaurant. If you need to purchase anything you have to drive to Walmart. Maybe other Elegante’s have set the bar too high but this is not it. Also the bathrooms are disgusting. I hate being so negative but you’ll just have to see for yourself to understand. The staff is really nice though.
