Beautiful hotel with convenient location

Always love staying a the Benson. Rooms are always clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Love the valet service. Restaurant has great food and service. Hotel is beautiful and love the walk ability to restaurants shopping.

We loved the pool. The hot tub wasn't working and I wished they would sent us a not when we booked it for the night

Staff was great and super friendly. My complaints are that the room was not super clean. The bathroom sink was filthy, and you could see water stains on the shower from previous use. A lot of the walls had noticeable paint chips and the bed frames were extremely worn out and pealing. Also, although the elevator says you cannot use it without a keycard 99% of the time you could go in and press a button without scanning the card and it would work. From a safety standpoint I wasn’t a fan of that. As far as location this hotel is very central to downtown and it was $35 a day to park in the garage which was cheaper and safer that areas near by I felt.

Was in town for a short vacay , great room with lake view , great service from staff , very good onsite restaurant with good food Only thing I can think of is the hotel is in industrial part of airport hence not many shopping options / restaurants in nearby vicinity but I got stuff delivered using Uber Eats so not complaining Also the closest tram station is a mile and a half away so if you don’t plan on renting a car then it might be some issue otherwise 5 stars
