Clean and comfy

We booked the hotel as it had twin rooms. And we had come for the Braderie. It's in a good Central location and is easy to walk to most places in the central part of Lille. Rooms are small but clean and comfy and sound proofing was very good. Staff were outstanding, very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Big shout out to the reception staff who were super helpful - especially John at breakfast who was quick to fill up empty stations and very kindly brough me a boiled egg when I asked if they had any. Would stay hete again if twin rooms were needed.

A warm welcome

A warm welcome and continued excellent service from the staff. We stayed during the Braderie and although the location of the hotel was extremely busy, the rooms were quiet. The bed and pillows were clean and comfortable and we slept well. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice.

Great service from reception staff Marcia & Matteo, warm, welcoming and professional. Booked for 1 night en route to UK, hotel parking was full public pay car park not far from property. Lots of restaurants near by.

I'm in a wheelchair. The pavements in the immediate area were uneven. Building works restricterd the available width. Beggars sitting on the pavements left limited room to pass. Breakfast foods ran out quickly and were slow to be refilled/replaced. Otherwise a truly excellent hotel which I would recommend to anyone.

Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. We were able to store our bags and were allowed to stay in the reception while waiting for our train back home. We didn’t like the location, it does not have the best atmosphere and quite far from all the attractions. Hotel structure is also disappointing. Reception area is nice/recently renovated. However, the corridors and rooms are dated with poor decor. The bathroom (specifically the toilet) was not clean. Breakfast was also disappointing: bad coffee (from a machine), a lack of traditional local products, no fresh sliced fruit (though some whole fruits available). Having read the good reviews about breakfast we expected a bit more.

Convenient location to walk around Lille. Staff were excellent, especially Julia at reception who gave fabulous restaurant recommendations and even booked us a table. Bedroom was a little compact, but had everything we needed. I would definitely stay again. Thank you!

A* STAFF. Easy flat walk to all main areas ie westfield shopping centre, the big christmas market the normal sunday market. All the eateries and love architecture.
