Room needs a refurb and carpet dirty. Plaster loose on ceiling. No door mechanism so extremely loud bang when shutting. This went on late at night and early in morning.

This is a grim property that had the room feel of a young offenders institute and the smell of disappointment. The shower, whilst powerful enough and adequately hot, was broken at the base rail (someone had already siliconed and that was now moldy and without adhesion). Terribly dispiriting experience. Still, at least the room was clean, if not entirely devoid of colour, wall art of any description, quiet (actually, it wasn’t. It was quite loud as the soundproofing is non-existent). Mercifully I only had one night to endure.

Ibis lincoln

Cheap and basic is all i can so. Room very basic, makes travelodge look good. Just one school type wooden chair to sit on. Very old beds with mattress toppers on them. Rooms and lift smelt of disinfectant. Fire door between rooms on 3rd floor kept banging all night, obviously the closure needs adjusting. Defo wont be using ever again. Asked to be moved to another room but was told all rooms are the same and theres no budget for new furniture. If i hadn't pre paid , i would have gone to another hotel. However, the afternoon staff, two lads, were polite and friendly and very up beat considering the state of the place, well done them.

I was in room 321 and the basin hot tap did not work also the shower took an age to drain away,something that housekeeping should have noticed while cleaning,overall the building was tired with dirty carpets etc,the staff though were excellent

The location is prime, this the baseline for my choice. However, it was was so tired and stinky, the most basic stay I've ever had. Mever ever again.

The room was ok but the cleanest wasnt great, skirting board one side of bed was discussting, bathroom floor had grey lumps of fluff all around. Carpets needed a good clean or a extra hoover. And to charge £3.00 for a hot drink with your breakfast is appalling should be part of your B&B The bed was very hard needed replacing.

Canny decent

We didn't arrive until about 2.30am, and even though I rang and messaged the hotel when we booked months in advance to check that this was okay (and the website does not mention any cut off time) we were told we were put down as a no show. Thankfully the guy on the check in desk was able to reinstate our booking. Room was clean, bed was comfy but the pillows just sank when you lay down on them. Overall a decent stay! Thanks again :)

"I recently stayed at Ibis Lincoln and was deeply disappointed. The price was exorbitant for what it offered. The conditions were poor, and everything in the hotel felt very old and outdated. I expected much more for the price and was left feeling let down."
