This place is a gem, classic, old world but so comfortable and refined, amazing staff and service, kindness everywhere, fresh linens and evening turn down, chocolate and pastries, water refreshed daily, no xtra fees for coffee delivered in room. Fabulous bar and lounge, knowledgeable and attentive bar server. There’s nothing transactional about this place. It is all about making guests comfortable. America seems to have forgotten this. Or it all comes at a $$ cost. Not here. Everything is included. What a wonderful place.Can’t wait to come back!

Si bien mi habitación tenia dos ambientes y era en ese sentido muy cómodo. Me llamó la atención ver lo viejo que se siente todo. El papel tapiz manchado, la cama “king” es la suma de dos camas separadas lo cual no refleja un hotel de la categoría que se ofrece. dicho esto el desayuno, los salones del segundo piso y el servicio son de primera. La ubicación excelente. El bar abajo tampoco está bien, los muebles son viejos y al ambiente no invita a sentarse y tomar algo

This was our third (lengthy stay, 16 nights) at Avenida Palace. Everything and everyone from check in to check out was outstanding. Our 6th floor room overlooking the street was amazing….spacious, comfortable, considerable storage space, good size vanity and bathroom. Housekeeping and turn down service was always prompt, courteous, and immaculate. The breakfast buffet was overflowing with fresh fruit, breads, eggs, meats, pastries, juices, coffee, and pots of tea. Breakfast staff were warm and welcoming, helpful, and obliging. All the staff (reception, concierge, bell hops, breakfast staff, housekeeping, bartenders) are professional, and obvious that they all enjoy working at the Avenida Palace. Staying at this hotel, surrounded by majestic rooms and surroundings,and service provided by professionals is a treasured experience!

This is a great hotel. The staff was super helpful and friendly. Great room, clean and spacious (for European standards). They left treats or gifts for us everyday in our room. Great breakfast buffet everyday.
