The Chalet is in an excellent location. Very quiet, yet close to many restaurants & shops, and walking distance to main attractions. It’s a beautiful, charming accommodation. Spacious, incredible view of the valley below & castles above. Stunning sunsets. Morning birds singing. The best of everything. The staff were all very kind, gracious & very helpful. I felt well taken care of. Loved every minute, wish I could live there. I highly recommend it!!! Thank you for an amazing stay. My balcony is was large enough for at least 8 people with ample room!! My suite had a large living room area, beautiful bedroom & bathroom, all with very high ceilings, on the second floor.

Perfect location: near the train station, close to the historic center, and across the street from a very good restaurant. Beatrice was our waitress. She was affable, courteous, and professional. We ate our meals there.

Excellent Location and Room

Very charming and well located hotel in a classic style. Room was very spacious. The bed was wide and soft. Bathroom was small but clean. Maid service came in and cleaned up nicely. Desk clerks were extremely helpful and kind. Breakfast was at their restaurant around the corner and was a good sized assortment of a few slices of ham, cheese, a fruit bowl a hard boiled egg and a basket of croissants and slices of bread. Orange juice and a choice of coffees. Friendly service at this popular spot. We went early one day and late the next. Recommend early as it’s not so busy and the croissants were fresh and hot! Location is perfect for walking to sites.

The staff we're very welcoming and accommodating make great recommendations for dinner. The office mgr assisted us in purchasing our train tickets to Porto when she found out we hadn't purchased them yet, again above and beyond. The hotel restaurant for breakfast was amazing. Great experience with the Chalet.

Quaint property in Sintra. Staff super helpful. Nice room, ours opened onto the garden. Would go back for sure. Go an hour early to castles etc. Decievingly long walks. Sintra is for lovers!

Great place

Wish we could have stayed there longer. We were only there for one night. The staff was so friendly and nice. The accommodations were great and we loved the location only a few minutes from the train station. The breakfast was also really good!

Charming setting, very clean, especially for older Victorian-style decor. Comfortable bed. Very pleasant airy sitting room to take complimentary port. Attentive and kind reception, and included breakfast at nearby cafe is excellent. Perfect location for walking from train station and then up to old town and Royal Palace.

Such a cute place to stay. Our check in was fabulous with front desk staff being so friendly. Easy and convenient to walk to many local wine bars and restaurants. Train station just 2 min walk away. The breakfast was amazing and too much food we asked for half the next day! Beds were comfortable. Shower was a little small if you are a bigger person. Would Recommend.
