Super friendly staff, conveniently located to walk to the sites in Lisbon. The bed was very comfy (or we were too tired from exploring) and the rainfall shower was great. The breakfast was European and tasty. Three small cons: 1. They need more than one individual coffee/cappuccino makers for the breakfast area. At one point, the line was five people long. 2. Maybe think about getting umbrellas for the individual porches as the sun was brutal. 3. We bought a bottle of wine in town and wanted to enjoy it on our porch. They had no ice maker, but the bar was going to charge 10 Euros for a wine bucket with ice. Hotel Do Chiado is a boutique hotel and charging for ice seemed out of character.

Fantastic hotel in Lisbon

Loved this hotel. Great location and great staff. We needed parking and it was very good with lift access to the car once parked. Lots of restaurants etc around. The hotel has an excellent rooftop bar. Highly recommended

We loved the location, view from balcony, and the friendliness of all the staff. Our room was ready a little early which is wonderful after a red eye. They had our bags waiting for us in our room as soon as we arrived back from lunch and sent us a message to let us know the room was ready.

Reserve a patio room on the 7th floor - the room is very comfortable and you will not be disappointed with the view and being able to sit out in the morning or after a late dinner enjoying the views of the river and castle.

We stayed at the Hotel do Chiado 6 July - 11 July. Absolutely recommend Hotel do Chiado! The staff was uber attentive. Jonelba (sp) at the front desk warmly welcomed us and gave us a tour of the hotel facilities. If you can, get a room with a terrace view.

Parking is tight, almost better to use a public lot nearby. Room is nice, terasses are amazing, but shower would clog up. At check-out, they called the room 3 minutes after check-out time which, although technically true, could've been dealt with differently. But location is top.
