Stunning hotel

This is an amazing hotel with great service in a convenient location, right next to the Baixa-Chiado metro stop. Staff were very attentive and thoughtful, right down to housekeeping noticing that I slept with two blankets and making up my bed that way. My umbrella broke and they let me borrow one. They have a nice bar and restaurant with friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast has a wide variety of hot and cold options. Rooms on the 7th floor have stunning views of Lisbon, the River, and San Jorge Castle.

I loved the terrace but the coffee machine needs to be changed. It doesn’t work very well. Roof bar is nice but needs to stay open a little later. The room is nice and easily accessible.

It was a remarkably great experience at Hotel do Chiado and I look forward to a return. The level of gracious welcome and overall attentiveness of the staff is unsurpassed in my experience as a world traveler. The rooftop restaurant and breakfast buffet are highly recommended. The hotel has a friendly yet professional feel and is conveniently located near stores and restaurants.

In the heart of Chiado/Baixa neighborhoods. Not a shortage of shopping and dining options and the staff at the hotel were all very kind and welcoming. Would definitely stay again here if I go back to Lisboa!

Great choice for Chiado

This location was perfect for ease of access. Staff was so friendly and we felt well taken care of. The rooftop bar was a lovely place to view the city and enjoy our welcome drinks.

Fantastic location right in the centre of town with everything on your doorstep and great views from the room and the rooftop. The staff were lovely, the room was big and not noisy at all despite its location. We would have liked a kettle in the room because we are British after all, and the bar could do with staying open after 11 but these are tiny things. I'd highly recommend the hotel.

The hotel was great. Perfect location walking distance to every where. Don’t hesitate to book this hotel. Desk staff super friendly too. Only thing is I was supposed to get VIP service through Expedia and did not get the service. That’s on Expedia not the hotel.

Wonderful staff, disappointing room

Ten stars for the staff all of whom were super friendly and helpful. Special shout out to the people working in the bar/restaurant Sunday afternoon/evening. They were both so nice! Also the gentleman who checked me out of my room early Monday morning. Unfortunately the room was disappointing. The windows were tiny and faced another building which made me feel claustrophobic. The room temperature was too warm and there was no guidance on how to adjust the temperature. There were numerous stains on the carpet and some of the glassware had a grey residue on it (not unclean, likely soap residue). On the upside the towels were very soft and luxurious and the welcome pastel de nata, welcome drink and parting gift were all very nice touches. This was my third stay in Lisbon but not my favorite hotel. While I wouldn’t refuse to stay here again I’d definitely upgrade to a room with a view which would be more expensive. Also the neighborhood , while convenient, was super touristy. Lovely views from the restaurant though!
