Unhygienic conditions: The entire floor was dirty, moldy, and stained. Pillows and duvets were sticky, damp, and stained with oil marks, and the bed sheets even had visible footprints. After sleeping, all five of us experienced itchiness, likely due to the unclean bedding. Unsafe property: Several windows could not be locked properly, and the street outside had many loiterers, making the location unsafe at night. Uncomfortable environment: Although we were aware the property had no air conditioning, we only discovered after check-in that a note at the entrance instructed guests to keep all windows and doors closed at night. With only two small fans for five people, the rooms became unbearably hot. Bathroom issues: Both bathrooms were in terrible condition — the drainage system overflowed after running water for only a few seconds. With five guests, showering was practically impossible and highly inconvenient.

A single body towel per person for. 5 days, the toilet paper not enough,the water was stagnant in the shower, the door dirty, the dirty neighborhood, a single garbage bag for 5 days, in the sofa bed is difficult to sleep.should have another bed .

Well appointed and in a very central location. We stayed here with our children aged 3 and 6 and had a great time exploring Lisbon. Noise travels in the building so it can be a little noisy from people above or in the stairwell.

This property is in a central area, but I did not feel safe in this neighbourhood. The walls are pretty thin, so you could hear people outside walking up and down the stairs. The apartment itself did not have an elevator, so you’ll need to carry your luggage upstairs. There were two washrooms in our unit, but one of the washrooms has a leaking toilet and a clogged sink. There is no air conditioning, but there are two fans available. The balcony smelled so we did not use it. There were small flies in the washroom. A couple positives are that the host is responsive on WhatsApp, and the place is walking distance to places. However, I would not stay here again. Did not feel safe walking around the neighborhood at night.

I liked the reasonably priced apartment not far from the city center. Grocery store is nearby, as well as plenty of dining options, and you can walk to the city center. The staff is responsive, for example they delivered missing coffee cups swiftly. Two things to consider - some guests were quite loud, and there is some occasional noise from the street at night - from cars to singing pedestrians. Unfortunately, the apartment needs a thorough cleaning and a new coat of paint. If you are coming from college dorms and looking for a party space, it might be great. If you have your own place and keep it clean.. well, this may not be your place

We really enjoyed our stay! The only complaint that we had was that it was extremely cold throughout the apartment. Even with the heaters on, we were freezing! The apartment was perfect for a weekend trip. The communication was great, and we had everything we needed :)

I would have loved to rate this property 5 stars, but only reason I haven’t and I was very disappointed with this property was the very dark balcony. It wasn’t a balcony, more like a mini courtyard. It was enclosed, not opened for any light to come through. Only bit open was at the very top in the corner. It made the living room and kitchen very dark. I was looking forward to enjoy the Lisbon sun when having breakfast or the night view at end of the day after coming back to the apartment. However, I think the apartments above us may have nice balconies with views. So, when booking, you may need to find this. I thought all apartments come with open balconies (the photos from the website were not very clear to me). Initially communicated was poor. I had to contact Expedia customer service when I wasn’t getting any response from the property management. After Expedia’s support, it was okay. The property was clean in general. However, the floor could do with a mop. Our feet were getting very dark after walking around in bear feet. I found the area reasonably quiet and safe. The location was great. You can walk to most of the touristic places. There are a good number of super and mini markets.

This property was cozy and made my family feel at home. We got to live in the heart of the cultural and was close to many restaurants, shopping and attractions. I would recommend this property to others as well as stay with my family again if I got the opportunity.

The property had a good kitchen, fridge, coffee machine. Bedrooms were a good size. Patio area was disappointing. No natural sunlight, not really outdoors. 2 showers and bathrooms was useful.

Location ok, depends which way you go. One particular way didn’t look too pleasant. Got to apartment at 10pm since our luggage was lost. Wanted to get straight to bed but sheets were dirty, called 24/7 number and told them that we will be leaving and expect a full refund. Went to look for a hotel but everything was booked, came back 4 hours later exhausted with the clothes on went to bed. Next day in the morning cleaning lady came in to change the bed sheets and clean spider webs , she showed up while we were still sleeping, I told her to give us 5 minutes and she said ok, 5 minutes later I came out to let her in and she was gone. Called the owner and she said to leave the keys in a box so we don’t have to sit home and wait for her which we did. By the end of the day no one showed up so we went and paid money for the laundry to have clean beds. The whole stay no one showed nor called.

Nice Stay in Lisbon with Large Garden-Area

Excellent communication about how to check in. The location was great for us. The property had a lovely outside area that was great to relax on. The inside of the property was small for six people but was still manageable, especially when you don't spend too much time inside, and had two bathrooms, which was great. The kitchen space was also very nice.

Good property, clean, comfortable rooms and 2 bathrooms. Not a great sitting area as there's only 1 couch, we (4 of us) sat at the kitchen table. Good to have a balcony option although there's no view and it's not very private if there are neighbours. In a good location, easily walkable to the main areas and shops and restaurants close by. It's hilly but this is Lisbon. There is a tourist tax to be paid and a deposit to be held before entry details are provided. I was uncomfortable having to pay these via links provided by a 3rd party - something Expedia themselves warn not to do. And I've never arrived at accommodation and been invited to send photos of damage to prove it wasn't us! Not how i want to start my holiday. But communication was friendly and entry details were clear.

The location was perfect. We were able to walk everywhere and experience the local "feel" and culture. Overall we were very happy. There were just a few things to note that were issues that I feel are worth noting. 1) the listing photos apparently show more than one apartment at this location. If they had been broken out we would have chosen the one where the outside area was uncovered. Having an outside area was one of the criteria that was a deciding factor. We were in the apartment where the outside area was mostly covered. Due to this the covered area was very, very moldy/musty which created a big allergy problem. As a result I could not spend time outside in that area at all. The listing says there is a coin operated laundry. We were on a 3 week trip. Lisbon was during week 2. I purposely selected a property with a laundry so that we could wash our clothes when we got there and just before we left. (We only packed for one week.) However there is no laundry at all on the property. It is about a 5 minute walk away. I did not want to spend time in a laundromat so that was a big fail. Last, and this didn't matter much to us but might to others, the listing said there is daily housekeeping but there is none.

We enjoyed our stay. The location was good if you enjoy walking (which we do), very easy to get into the downtown and Alfalma area. Ubers and taxis are plentiful and not expensive if you choose not to walk. The neighborhood felt very safe, even late at night. The apartment was great for 3 of us. Two full bathrooms was very nice. The apartment was plenty big enough with a a spacious outside private area as well. Would book again!!!

Location was great. Quite noisy at night though so bring ear plugs! Other guests did not respect quiet times at all unfortunately. Patio outside was a bonus for sure. Washing machine could not be used because it was full of mildew. Kitchen had everything you could need if you were planning to stay longer, we ate out but the apartment is quite functional for a longer stay.

It was great for walking to Alfama, the historic district. Close to a couple of lovely lookouts too. Just be ready to walk up many hills and cobble-stoned streets.

Ich habe noch nie eine derart unhygienische Unterkunft erlebt. Im Bad waren deutliche Spuren zahlreicher vorheriger Gäste zu sehen. Die vorhandenen Haarbüschel und eine völlig verschmutzte Toilettenbürste waren schlicht unzumutbar und ekelerregend. Auch die Terrasse befand sich in einem desolaten Zustand: Ein defekter Stuhl lag in Einzelteilen herum, der Boden war übersät mit Zigarettenresten, und ein altes, verdrecktes Handtuch lag herum. Es machte einen insgesamt stark verschmutzten und vernachlässigten Eindruck. Nach meiner sofortigen Kontaktaufnahme wurde mir zugesichert, dass eine Reinigung erfolgen würde. Dieses Versprechen wurde jedoch nicht eingehalten. Stattdessen wurde lediglich die Terrasse gereinigt und das Mobiliar ausgetauscht – das Bad blieb unverändert in seinem unzumutbaren Zustand. Das hat mich sehr enttäuscht, da man sich als Gast schlicht ignoriert fühlte, obwohl die Mängel offensichtlich waren. Zusätzlich roch es in der gesamten Wohnung stark nach Abfluss. Auf Nachfrage wurde uns erklärt, dies könne am Niederschlag liegen. Eine tatsächliche Reinigung blieb bis zum Schluss aus, obwohl einem scheinheilig angeboten wurde, dass man der Verwaltung mitteilen soll, wenn sie noch etwas für einen tun könnten. Das vermittelte den Eindruck, dass die berechtigte Beschwerde nicht ernst genommen wurde – als Gast fühlte man sich schlicht getäuscht und respektlos behandelt.
