Review of the "Chtsworth": ironically, the "A" from Chatsworth has fallen off the side of the building, amusing my children. We booked this place as it had a swimming pool although it's all very dated. Location is ok, and if you're looking for a budget hotel then you've come to the right place, but if you can afford more, keep looking. The evening entertainment doesn't always finish until 11pm and the noise comes straight through the floorboards so don't expect an early night, especially if you have children.

This was a last minute break and was delighted with everything the receptionist was very helpful as was all the staff our room had been recently refurbished clean warm and comfortable. Excellent value for money will definitely be back thank you all xx

Staff was nice and helpful, hotel in need of face lift,couldnt have a shower for part of the stay as there was no water, DEFINITELY need new matresses . Pool started of nice and warm until someone turned the cold water directly into the pool on, and then the pool quickly became very cool. The view from our room was perfect though.

We have stayed here before and everything was lovely, however this time it was an awful experience. The lift to our room was broken no apology for this. my mother can not walk up that many stairs due to breathing difficulties. The room was so hot and small definitely not a family room. It was dirty and duaty. The shower gel left was from previous guests half used. My daughter found a bug in our bed absolutely horrified by this. The bar staff and kitchen/dining staff were helpful and polite. Sadly would not recommend this hotel again to anyone.

We booked 2 rooms and stayed for 2 nights but both rooms were not serviced on second day. Bins were not cleared. Staff was cordial and provided table fan when requested.

Great family stay

The overall day was very nice and we were near all the shops and restaurants close proximity to the sea and parking around the rear overall really enjoyed our stay. Wood return the pool was an added bonus.
