My wife and I stayed here the week of our anniversary. The staff was super nice. The room was a good size. We opted for the suite and were not disappointed. The amenities from the fridge, dishwasher, and laundry were a plus. Also, the view of tower bridge from the room was spectacular. As a bonus, the Aldgate East tube station is less than a minute away. Our only gripe was that the bed could’ve been more comfortable.

Expectations are high having stayed here before, but fell short this time. Check in asked for an actual credit card (not from the phone/Apple Pay) which was sorted. The sofa in our room was soaking wet and unusable and we had to ask for a change of room. New room was great, except it was roastingly hot. The air conditioning panel didn't work and there were no instructions as to how to use it. With no phones in the room, there was no ability to ask for help or support. We subsequently spent a sleepless night in a stifilingly hot and stuffy room. This was flagged at reception on check out but other than, "ok thanks for telling us," there was no other response. This is not a cheap accommodation choice and needs to pay more attention to detail to remain competitive.

This is the third Locke I have stayed in in England. They are high-end accommodation with an "arty feel" which on the surface appears to be first class. They are _comfortable_, but all of them have failed to really deliver what they promise (i.e., there is a style over substance problem). This Locke suffered from some of the problems they all have (dim lighting and poor instructions as to how to use the inscrutable Smeg appliances). For this Locke the TV channels were all dead, and the washer drier would not dry clothes not matter how many times you tried (in my case >6). However, it is in a GREAT location, the space is pleasant (if prioritizing style over comfort or usefulness), and the staff were nice enough on the rare occasions I interacted with them. There are superettes nearby to get brekkie stuff, and some reasonably priced food nearby too. Good transport links to the rest of the city, easy to get to from Heathrow even though it is east London!

Perfect Business Stay

Had a great stay while working the week in London nearby. Great staff, loved the cafe in the lobby. Rooms have all the basics, and the location is only a short walk to Aldgate East Tube Station. Will Definitely stay here again!

Nice place

Nice apartment. Had everything that we needed. Good area and easy to access central London. If any recommendation, it would be replace the sofa - its style didn’t give a lot of comfort. We would return.

Locke Hotels in general, and Leman Locke in particular, never disappoint! This one is perfectly located, and the rooms/apartments are wonderful. Very reasonably priced for the quality, and the cafe downstairs is a real plus!

Excellent Stay at Leman Locke I had an amazing stay at Leman Locke. The design of the apartments is modern and stylish, with all the comforts of home. The space was spotless, well-equipped, and incredibly comfortable. The location is perfect—close to great restaurants, transport links, and key attractions. The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help. It truly felt like a home away from home. I highly recommend it and will definitely be returning!

Great location and very clean

Amazing location just across from Aldgate East tube station. Lovely and clean and had everything we needed. Some areas were a bit worn, such as the paint on the walls and the corridors, it just looked like it needed a bit of a freshen up
