Terrible service. I had a room booked at Air Venice through Expedia. I called at 10:30p to confirm that I could arrive at 11pm. There was no parking and there were homeless people heckling outside. I was unable to park my vehicle (a camper van) in the vicinity and would have had to walk very far through bad areas to walk into the hotel. No one answered after 4 calls to direct me where to park. They refused a refund the day even for subsequent night stays. Bad neighborhoods, terrible/no customer service. Expedia also refused to back me up and took their lies. They will likely comment that this is not true (they lied in my Google review and said they provided assistance)… further pointing out that the management is terrible. Expedia won’t post this because it’s a scathing review of both the property and Expedia

Convinent is the only thing. Limited staff. Almost no staff at the desk. One staff sent me to the wrong floor. She didn't answer the phone when I called 2 x. I had to go down looking for her. The windows are locked, not able to open for rest air. The bathroom is very small, no space on the counter for personal items.

The ocean view was beautiful as it described. The location was excellent. But the room had a strange smell that we had to keep the window open and the fan on. The toilet ball lock valve was broken. Those seem like not unknown issues as a “ maintenance guy” was trying to enter our room “ without knocking the door” just before the check out time as he thought we had gone.

The oceanfront studio I paid for was different from the one I was given. The photo had an extra couch; it was larger. Judging by the windows in the photo, it was on the top floor, but they gave me a small one on the second floor.

This is my fourth or fifth stay at Air Venice primarily because it is on the beach and affordable, relatively. It is simple. I like going out for a run, coming back to climb stairs back to my room, clean hardwood floors, and the spaciousness of the rooms. (There is an elevator for the luggaging;-). No frills and a laundry room. The views make it luxurious.

The hotel is in a good location, seconds away from the beach, walking distance to restaurants and bars. The hotel room was clean and staff were friendly. Not a 5 star hotel, but it's a great hotel for the price.

Very quaint and stylish hotel in a perfect location across the street from the beach and very close to many restaurants, bars and souvenir stores. Staff was amazing and very helpful with any problems that came up as well as with information about the area. I feel that this one of my favorite hotels that I have stayed in recently and recommend it highly! If I return in the future, I plan to stay here again.

The Hotel was 2 star,staff were very nice and helpful. But ,outside was very very noisy because of the restaurant’s backyard .Not sure why there were many homeless, you can see many dirty stuff by the sidewalk.none of the stores do anything .street were so dirty and smelly which is no surprise it is LA.every where you can see that. the garbage collecting area caused strong smell .none of these were hotel mistakes. it is city mayor who doesn’t care about people’s health . Parking is another issue .

Don’t come here!

Not happy with this service at all. Pictures shown is not what you get at all. My family and I stayed at Air Venice hotel on the Beach. The front desk guy was extremely rude. Our check in time was 4pm and our room was not ready till 4:30. Upon arriving the place looked different as shown on the listing place is run down with pips on the ceiling. pips on the ceiling leaking during the night. It had gotten all over the bed and our faces. Such rude and terrible service definitely not worth what we had paid.
