Reception staff were really helpful when we turned up having failed to get into the property we were booked into. We booked through Expedia while at the reception desk after they confirmed that the room (the only room available) could be changed to a twin. As there was no one else available, the reception staff went to make the change themselves. Room was clean and as described with views of lake and mountains.

The lake view rooms are spacious, have a great view, and have everything you need. While the bathroom is sparse (only a small mirror and dark shower), we thought the room was beautifully done. The restaurant and outdoor spaces are beautiful and the sauna is a nice touch. It was great to be across from the walking trail, which took about 45 min to walk into town (or few minutes by car).

Kitchen fully equipped for preparing breakfast (sink, fridge, electric hotplate but no micro). Would help to have handheld shower hose instead big “colander” spraying only on one head and confusing single tap which supposedly balances cold/hot.

Very trendy stay. Clean rooms and very nice staff. It was a little hard walking up flights of stairs with my heavy luggage, and we were a little nervous we were not gonna find parking in the lot. Overall a cute hotel!

Lovely hotel, with great rooms and a very friendly staff. Ideal for having a car and doing trips around Queenstown, but far from the centre. Clean rooms and clean (but very basic) bathroom, but the noise insulation is poor.

The bathroom had an extremely strong smell of mold, so much that we had to hold our breath when using it. Even after housekeeping cleaned the bathroom, the smell remained. It seems related to the building’s age and ventilation. The room itself was a bit dark with limited lighting but otherwise decent. On the positive side, the hotel has plenty of parking spaces and is in a convenient location. When we informed reception about the mold smell, they were polite and tried to help, but no other rooms were available for us to switch. Overall, good location and parking, but the room was dark and the persistent mold smell in the bathroom made the stay uncomfortable.
