They gave my room away before I arrived! I landed late evening from Hawaii, and upon landing had to scramble to find a new hotel in LA. Not pleased at all. This was prepaid at time of booking. Will not use this hotel again in the future.

After 6 arrival room not ready

Arrive a bit after 6 pm and our room was not ready. Another couple traveling with us arrive 10 min later and received their room right away. We had the same room reservations too. Bar tender was fantastic he saved this review from being worse.

the staff and service were amazing. the only thing i did not like was the fact that the showers don’t have an actual door. just half of the shower was covered with glass. just an oddly placed towel in an attempt to keep the water from getting on the floor instead of an actual door. other than that small downside it was great.

This hotel considering that this is a hospitality service failed to provide WARMTH, EMPATHY, and HOSPITALITY. Front desk: Arrived last Friday early in the morning (around 2am) due to a 3hr flight delay. This trip has been PAID via Expedia and was already reflected in my credit card. When we arrived, the female front desk staff said that the room we paid for is not available and we are to be given a room (cheaper) than what we paid for since we checked in late. This is already PAID, so the room should not be given to anyone (we are staying for 5 nights). She told us the room we are getting is just for that 1 day and we can receive the actual room we paid for the following day. Imagine transferring all your stuff. She gave us the key for the 1st flr room. The key wouldn’t work because guess what, the ROOM WAS OCCUPIED by someone else. To add more insult, after sev she said that the room we paid for is now ready. No EMPATHY. NOT HOSPITABLE at all. The same female front desk staff rode in the elevator with us and was giving us a bad look. FACILITY: Only 1 of the 2 elevators were working the whole time. Imagine how busy the hotel was and we had to wait (there were 6 flrs.) ROOM: The BED WAS HORRIBLE. Our backs were shrinking since the bed was overused and so soft to the point it had to be changed. But of course, this hotel doesn’t care. The carpets were filthy and the counters and tables were full of dust. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!!!!!!

There was a delayed to check in due to the systems were down. No big deal. Also, if there are 2 guests in the room, I think it will much better if housekeepers leave at least 2 toilet paper. It was only one and to request took for ever. Same with the body lotion. Thanks.

Hotel designed only for flight crews. STAY AWAY!

This hotel is designed for flight crews, not business or personal travelers. When we got there from the airport at 10:14 p.m. to check in, the front desk told us there was "a one hour wait for check in," and with no explanation or apology told us to wait in the lobby. After seeing 2-3 pairs of flight crews check in, I went back to her and asked if we could check in now, and she said, "no, those are flight crews. I'll let you know when you can." 20 minutes later about 40 Chinese flight attendants come pouring out of the elevators, then go take their bus to the airport. When I was finally like, "what the heck is going on?" the rude lady at the front desk was like, "Well, we have to clean their rooms, and we only have one housekeeper." About 15 minutes after that (now 11:40), she says, "You're room's ready" and hands us the keys. Turns out it was a double, not the king we'd reserved. There was zero offer of any apology or compensation. And though we stayed there two days, no housekeeper came by to clean the room or even replenish the coffee. I would recommend staying away from this horrible spot, and leaving it to the flight crews.

Poor management using overbooked excuse!

I love Cambria Hotels but I am very disappointed in this Cambria. I had reservations and my 3 rooms where given away. No real explanation other then they had over booked the hotel. After waiting in a long line and told rooms not ready mind you it was after 6:00pm Finally told sorry you don't have any rooms.
