The first room had water damaged flooring throughout that was buckled and squishy. I went downstairs and complained and they upgraded my room which was excellent. They did right by me. They didn’t charge any extra.

When we checked in there were no more vacancies- the flooring was coming up and buckling allnover the floor & creating a fall hazard for my handicap family member. I noted my reservation was for handicap accommodations but I thought thatxwas very inconvénient and unsafe for the expensive cost.

When I walked into the lobby it was clean inviting. I was greeted by a lovely lady. I proceeded to ask her where the blessed places to eat were she told me to walk main Street. I would love it. We had an absolutely great time. Also the rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. Check out with smooth and easy. This is a must come again.... I really enjoyed my stay there...

​Boutique Excellence – My New Favorite in Valencia ​I recently stayed at The Lexen Hotel for an overnight trip from approximately one hour north while my vehicle was at a local dealership for a warranty repair. From the moment I arrived, the experience was exceptional. ​Every member of the staff I encountered was incredibly friendly and professional. They were kind enough to change my accommodations to a first-floor room immediately upon my request. The hotel possesses a great deal of character, and the decor is truly top-notch. ​I must say that, overall, this was my best hotel stay to date. It even surpassed my long-time favorite, West Inn and Suites in Carlsbad. I have a saying that boutique hotels are like short men: they work harder for your affection! Affection has been received, The Lexen Hotel. ​Even my dealership service advisor was impressed. He arranged my transportation to the hotel and remarked on how well-appointed the property was during both my drop-off and pick-up. He even stated that he will be looking into staying there himself in the future. ​I have informed my family and friends of this experience. The Lexen Hotel is now locked in for me and my family. I will definitely return.
