Good Hotel But Old

The service was very good, as was the food. However, the Hotel is rather old and it is obvious in many areas. The gym was in excellent condition and I used it several days and enjoyed it. My primary concern was that the Wifi in our room did not work so I was limited with the work I could complete in the room. I asked numerous times, and once was told by an employee that it had been a while since it did work. So that was rather disappointing. However the Hotel did give us 20,000 points for compensation. It's 2025, the Wifi needs to work.

I have already written a review and the young lady on reception was brilliant. Mario in the bar was also great. In any hotel provide it is clean and well maintained it is the staff that make the difference between good and great.

The Travelocity Registration would error out and not complete requiring check ins at terminal, at car rental (45 minutes for two persons ahead to get checked in) and at hotel. Changes were difficult because we booked via "third party." The only convenient thing was comparing hotel, air and car rental prices.

The staff - EVERYONE - management, bartenders, servers, maintenance, housekeeping - everyone was so professional and helpful! Unfortunately, the sheets and towels were dirty…they smelled of chlorine and mold. The soap and lotion also were musky and had a masculine smell. The hotel is dated and the rooms are dark…you can’t open the windows so the rooms are very stale. It was a quick trip so I didn’t want to go through the trouble (and expense) of finding a new hotel. I probably won’t be staying here again.
