Great choice

Easy check in process. You do have to download an app to use this hotel. It did give some really good suggestions about the area. No key, just a code to get into the room. Room was nice and clean. We did not have any issues with outside noise.

The room was small but clean with comfy beds so that is all a plus. The girl who was at the front desk when we arrived was super crabby and short with us. We drove 7 hours so we could tour a university and arrived at 2:30 in the afternoon. She did not great us arrival and just looked at us. So I gave her our name. She just said "your room is ready, that will be an extra $36. Do you want that or not". First...rude! Second, never in my life have I been charged early check in when the room is ready and it is of no inconvenience to anyone to let us go in. Literally never...not even in Vegas! Such BS. Just saying!!!

The room was outdated and it was clear the headboard had fallen off the wall and they left it un-repaired. One of the lamps would not work and the curtains were in rough shape. The worst part of the room was how the inner courtyard/restaurant echoed terribly into the room. Paper thin walls are not conducive to a good nights rest. Other than that, the location is decent and the price was fine for what you get.

What was unique about this property is the lack of amenities. No refrigerator, no microwave, no closet. All the furniture was beat up and obviously from thrift stores. Cheap beds and uncomfortable sheets/blankets/pillowcases, towels. And the noise... the loudest floors and thinest walls of any hotel I've stayed. Spent over an hour with their "support" to arrange an early check in and, of course, the room was not ready, but it was ready an hour and a half later. I'll never stay at a Sonder property again.

Even though i had a booking with Expedia, showed them my app with the booking still active in my Trips.... but they had cancelled my roon from their end claiming i had cancelled it.... even though i could prove i had not. They didn't care and were fully booked..... leaving me and my family of 4 (inc 2 young children who were ready for bed) to scramble and try and find somewhere else to stay at 11pm at night! 😡😡😡😡 It was absolutely terrible!
