Property was very nice. Nothing fancy but rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Will stay again. If you want a clean and safe place to stay dont sleep on this property. Great experience!

Very nice, clean property. Pools were clean, sitting area was so nice. Room was good. My only con, was the room had carpet- no indoor outdoor carpet but the once plushy kind. I prefer a tile floor that can be mopped. Cleanliness. Other than that, would recommend 10/10!

When checking in, they said we only had 1 room, but our confirmation said we had 2. My toilet seat was loose and sometimes wouldn’t flush. Also the gold trim around full length mirror on bathroom door was coming off. In the other room, the sink didn’t drain, carpet was stained.

This hotel is very convenient to Fort Knox. It is quaint and clean. It is a little older, had trouble with the air at first, but then it worked very nicely, the sink had trouble draining. Overall, not a bad stay.

Overall it was okay. The first night we was there the bed broke my husband had to fix it. The 2nd day there while we was out getting food and while we was out they had rented our room to someone else and it wasn’t just it happened to another couple as well. And there was a bunch of kids that wasn’t staying at the hotel in the pools being crazy and there was two couples in the pool playing music that wasn’t okay for our 2 year old granddaughter to be listening to they was being very inappropriate in the pool as well it made us so uncomfortable we just left the pool.

My ice bucket was missing which want a big deal then the lock that on my door broke and I could not shut my door with out it being easily puched open. But they were look and trying to fix it.

The Golden Manor was a blast from the past. A very retro 70 vibe. I loved that it took me back to my youth. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable but the pillows were to die for. Great stay and i would recommend staying there and the rate was great.

Housekeeper needs lessons.

Everything was awesome. The only issue I had was with the maid service. The housekeeper knocked on my room door and as I was hollering to her Do Not Come in she unlocks my door and enters my room uninvited. I was standing there with no clothes on trying to get dressed after taking a shower and she just stares at me for a minute but it felt like 60. I was completely shocked, embarrassed, and a little humiliated too. Why did she just stand there when she seen I was undressed. She should have never entered my room without waiting for a response.

Everything was great except the television in our room did not work. There was a message on the screen that read. No registered guest.” When we called about it we were told they have never heard of that. I showed them a photo of the screen when we checked out, and I was told the same thing. The other issue was the water came out SCOLDING hot every time you turned it on, even when in the cold position. It did cool down, but it took a couple of minutes. It was so hot that when I turned the tub water on I waited for it to cool before I stepped inside to shower, and the water that sat in the bottom of the tub was still scolding hot when I stepped inside the tub. Hopefully they fixed this after I reported it, because it could really scold a child. The sink water was the exact same way, Other than these two issues, everything was good. The room and grounds were very clean and the staff members were very nice. I would highly recommend staying here, assuming the water issue and television gets fixed.

You Were All Correct!

I read all the reviews and you were all correct. The employees are friendly and efficient. The property is old and aging. Bathroom is cramped but water pressure is good. Mattress was newer (and comfy) but rest of furniture was ancient. Room was clean but the sanitizing scent was overwhelming. On-site restaurant was convenient and food - served up quickly by Janet- was delicious. And finally, the morning road noise might be an issue, depending on your room location. Bottom line: A good value for the reasonable price.
