I’ve had issues every day of my stay. The staff is very unpleasant. They roll their eyes and sigh at any request. If there is a small issue there is no apology or smile. I’ve even had a few run ins with staff just being flat out rude in the 3 days I’ve been here. It’s hard to get housekeeping. The food is a hit or miss. I let them know at check in that I had two reservations back to back. She said she couldn’t merge them and I would need to pack my things and check out and check back in. I asked again the day after and she said that again I have to come down and do the process all over again. We packed the room came down and she said we’re in the same room and we could have left our bags. Our room still has not been attended to. Most of my glasses from the restaurants are not clean. I just cleaned off someone’s lipstick from my glass and When I ask for another glass or even a plastic cup at this point he got annoyed. I asked for a manger twice no one has reached out. Everyone walks around like you owe them something. I am literally on vacation. I shouldn’t have to lift a finger or be afraid to ask for help. I would never stay here again or recommend.

We loved our stay at the resort! The place was clean, the food was delicious, and we had a fantastic time. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with champagne and a warm towel. It was my mom’s birthday, and the room was beautifully decorated with balloons, desserts, and complimentary champagne, all of which we had requested in advance. The hotel is in a great location, with everything you need nearby.

This is our third time staying at this Sonesta, the convenience alone makes it worthwhile if you're looking something close to the airport and Maho Beach but with resort amenities. Our room was what we requested, it was well maintained and cleaned daily as expected. The staff was very and mostly friendly... Lisa at the front desk was always helpful. Carlos and his dynamic dual crew of Mickel and Maxine were amazing at the pool bar, 5 star service with a smile! The barista at the coffee shop could have been more pleasant, felt like I was bothering her when I order my drink each morning... But that could easily be a culture thing. Anyway it didn't effect our vacation, we enjoyed ourselves and my son enjoyed celebrating his birthday here. We will be back again!

Our room air conditioning worked poorly, we went to the front desk to report it. No one showed up to check the system! Finally we called and two hours later after finding comfort with our personal travel fan, here comes the knock on the door. The air conditioner worked for just that night and returned warm again. We weren’t offer to move because we booked through Expedia, so they couldn’t accommodate us!! Therefore we had to suffer!! NEVER AGAIN!!
