It was close to cairns, just down the road from botanical gardens, easy drive to CBD. Quite and seemed safe. Lots of restaurants around and local shops.

Puctures in thus site do not reflect the actual condition of the hotel or rooms. Very tired and need a full make over but was clean and service was good. Its cheaper for a reason and you would need a car as away from main esplanade etc.

Check-in and checkout was quick and easy. Don’t know why some hotels take so long. It can be noisy if you’re in your room early in the night because the walls are thin and you can hear people talking outside. Bed was comfortable too.

My daughter is not good swim. But this hotel has 3 Pool. so she had good time to enjoy. Kids play area is good. prenty parking. other hotel near beach is always has to looking parking.

It was good pizza shop pool Bar Quiet (except 5.15 ish when some moves a trolly about tue wed thur and sat mornings) But cant fault the staff

Initially I was pleasantly surprised by the property given the price we were paying. When we got to the room however, I could understand the price. The room smelt musty and damp. I put that down to all the rain that FNQ had been having. What I couldn't get past though were the cockroaches. The first one I came across when I opened the cutlery drawer and a little one was looking up at me. When my daughter opened it again later, one twice the size had taken it's place. Several emerged from under the sofa while we sat watching TV. When I went to turn the light on in the bedroom there was one sitting on the light switch. When three scuttled out from under the telephone on the bedside table I knew I wasn't going to get much sleep. Response I received from the receptionist when I checked out in the morning was 'oh sorry'. Safe to say I wouldn't recommend.
