Cleanliness was ok but shower was not clean enough. No mini fridge or microwave. Old tv with low resolution and boring satellite tv. Noisy , uncomfortable bed due to a weak bed frame . But it’s probably the cheapest you will find in Madison and the staff are really nice.

Took a little bit for the staff to come to the desk. Not sure I have ever been to a Motel 6 where there was Security staff on site, but this one had it. The a/c was not functioning properly, did not blow cold at all. Light on the machine said it could use a filter change. We did tell the checkout staff about this as we checked out. No one was at the desk when we checked out. We left a note alos about the problem. There was no free breakfast included. We thought that was to be included. When we left the note about the a/c, we saw that there was also a note about someone checking out early, because they did not feel safe at this location & were looking for a refund. We did not feel unsafe, but questioned in our mind if there was some sort of "business transactions" going on in the parking lot.
