I booked the most expensive room here. It was supposed to be a King suite with refrigerator and microwave. I arrived at night, third shift time, and was “greeted” by a man (black, heavier build) who was obviously high on drugs based off the smell, demeanor, eyes, etc etc etc… it could not be more obvious how off he was. He made me pay the expensive rate for a room that was obviously not what he planned on giving me. I paid, went up to the room, and came close to vomiting on the spot based on the smell. Not to mention, this man charged me for a room that was NOT what I booked online. I asked him if he could see what room I booked and his response was “uhhh, nah, no, huh? I can’t see anything sorry”… so then I turn my phone around to show him the room I booked online and he swats my phone away and says loudly “I KNOW WHAT THE ROOMS ARE AND WE DONT HAVE YOURS” … I was beyond shocked at how this man was actually in charge of facing guests. Seriously… how?! He refused to offer a solution and no matter how simple of a question I asked, he refused to answer with more than a “uhh no I don’t know”. I felt like I was in a horror-comedy skit. Because this man refused to help me, I contacted Expedia to inform them of this issue. Keep in mind, I paid about $70 extra for the 3 nights to have a ‘suite’ and when Expedia contacted this slum hotel, they refused to work with them. So I was out all this money to stay in a disgusting room and with disgusting smells and bugs ALL OVER (in winter).
