Great location and lovely hotel right in the heart of Madrid's shopping and theatre district. Just a short walk to great dining options and the Royal Palace. Would definitely recommend. Breakfast was good and rooms were well appointed.

Depressing hotel - would not recommend

We had high expectations from reading the reviews and profile of the hotel, particularly as it claims to have been recently renovated, however we were incredibly disappointed about the hotel, which is dated, noisy, dirty and overpriced with less than polite staff. The breakfast room is akin to God’s waiting room - so depressing and with a poor selection and quality of food given the extortionate price charged for breakfast. The roof terrace is always packed and feels what can only be described as an episode of the tv programme Benidorm. We would not come back here or recommend it.
