Everything was great apart from the fact that they could not provide an iron for me nor iron my clothes on time. If you are going to stay here make sure you either bring your iron or ask one of the taxi guys for a place to iron your clothes in town.

Would recommend another hotel. Many things broken in my room. Alcohol drinks are terrible. I know it’s a muslim country but other hotels have better options. When it was time for checkout there was no one to help us with our luggage as per the person at the front desk. there’s no elevators so we had to bring our huge luggage without any help. Food wasn’t the best

The rooms were very clean, but mine didn’t include an iron, and the beds were pretty hard. The food and drinks were just okay. If you’re younger, don’t expect much to do — maybe it was just the time of year I visited, but the vibe felt very geriatric. The staff, though, were excellent and definitely a highlight.

Spacious rooms, staff are amazing, distance to airport and souls etc is good. Outdoor Pools aren’t heated only indoor one. No soft drinks in room only water so had to keep going to bar to get drinks in the evening. Kid friendly, high chairs available. Accessible. Food was repetitive but that is expected. 4/5

I recently stayed at this hotel in Morocco, and it was a wonderful experience. The staff were truly amazing—friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The entire place was spotless, and the level of care and attention to detail made my stay extremely comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again.

We really enjoyed our time at Riu Tikida Palmeraie. The hotel was beautiful with large rooms. The hotel was kept spotless as there was constantly cleaning, and the security made it a safe environment. The staff were very friendly. The food was tasty with lots of options. It was well worth what we paid. We will return.

Food lacked salt/flavor. I was unable to use the safe in the room because it was locked while opened. I kept being told it would take 1-2 hours for someone to come unlock the safe. I did not have time to wait for someone. Because I couldn’t use the safe, I could not let house keepers into the room while I was away which led to not getting the room cleaned or dirty towels changed. The RIU app did not work properly to book reservations for dinner or the shuttle bus.

In general is a good place to stay if what you are looking for is a more classic old Moroccan style vibe, the hotel does it really well, but I believe some furniture renewals and keep the heating available will be a positive experience for the guests, since sometimes the nights can be cold and having the newer furniture will really change the experience of staying in RIU Tikida
