Book Marysville hotels

We went in peak snow season during school holidays. We were told all restaurants, including room service was closed as the staff had been working 7 days straight. With two young kids we were caught off guard as this was not communicated to us before or during check in. There are only limited restaurants available in Marysville, so to find availability last minute when other hotel patrons are doing the same is difficult to say the least. We were paying full premium pricing with little to no amenities. They blamed the difficulty of getting staff to work in the area, especially since the borders were closed. Even if you say that’s fair enough, a professional hotel would still cater for peak season better, communicate this to all guests prior to arrival and better yet provide some form of compensation. I was also told that the website states that the restaurant is not open on Sundays and Mondays. However when I searched through the website I couldn’t find any reference to this, although it could be there but I couldn’t find it. I also don’t understand why they would build a complex in Melbourne with an outdoor pool that can only be used during summer. On a positive the hotel was able to cancel our second nights accommodation free of charge which was generous.

Super friendly service with excellent attention to detail. A very relaxing and calming atmosphere.
