The room and lobby were clean. Their restaurant, “Fall Line,” is good. The breakfast is not great—terrible potatoes. The other meals are fine. The staff is outstanding—helpful, attentive, and professional.

Only bad thing I can say is they don't have roll out beds despite the fact it says they offer them on the web site. Staff was able to change our room to one with two beds and a pull out couch so issue was resoved.

Didn't like the fact i paid 100 us over 4 days for parking. The hotel should comp it. The lot is attached to the hotel but isnt affiliated with Marriott. 24 USD for a 2 hour parking is ridiculous and overpriced. Otherwise, the Marriott Downtown Richmond was awesome. Super friendly staff and Lucia is a great cleaning lady, super nice and a great worker.

The property is great, and the staff is excellent. However, there is no area on the guest room floors that feels refreshing due to issues with the HVAC system. I had my AC set to 66 degrees, yet the room never cooled below 72 degrees, making it uncomfortably warm. Outside of the air conditioning concerns, the property itself is decent.

A little extra care goes a long way

Hotel staff is amazing. Thanks Singh and Victoria. Recommend parking across street for easy access to car, and in/out privileges with no extra charge. Rooms are comfortable, but deep cleaning is needed...carpet needs a good vacuuming around bed and corners, which means entire carpet probably needed a good scrubbing.
