Easy access to Haram

Hotel is on the doorstep of the Haram. Very easy access for daily prayers. Clean, neat and lovely suite. Hotel advertises the outdoor seating area overlooking the Haram, however not accessible for whatever reason.

The only advantage of this property is the closeness to the Haram. Extremely old and moldy bathrooms. I chose this hotel after a very pleasant stay at the Manakha Rotana in Madinah but it was a very disappointing experience.

This is my fourth visit here. Distance to Haram is very close. I felt the service was not as usual this time due to the rush of Ramadan. There restaurants were full and seating was sometimes not available, and tables and service not upto standard. I would not hesitate to stay here, but would advice to keep the usual standard even if the hotel is full.

Location is great, staff is great, facility is good. Only areas they can improve on is the adding some noise reduction on the doors. The doors to the rooms has about 1/2" gap on the bottom and 1/8" around the other 3 sides. Which makes the rooms very noisy, as you can hear every time elevator door opens or someone is talking on the hallway, which could be middle of the night. They can put some insulation around the doors to make it more quieter for the guests.

Stay was good but check-in was really late

We had a pleasant stay at Al Marwa Rayhaan by Rotana. The 2-bedroom suite was spacious and comfortable, offering plenty of room for our group. The breakfast spread was also quite nice, with a variety of options to start the day. However, one downside was the check-in process. We had to wait for about two hours after the check-in time because our room wasn’t ready yet, which was a bit frustrating. Aside from that, everything else was great, and we enjoyed our time at the hotel. Would consider staying here again, but I hope the check-in process is smoother next time.
