Gorgeous cozy studio - great for couples
This is an absolutely gorgeous little studio in a quiet location not far from town.
Perfect for a couples get away.
Super cute renovation, bathroom is an absolute 10/10 - towel warmers, backlight mirrors, LED lighting in shower, sensor lighting overnight, nice towels and generous with products on offer. Absolutely gorgeous style.
Bed is a quality mattress with reasonable pillows and linen.
Cute touches with welcome bottle of wine, record player, games etc
Things to think about:
- Keylock was programmed wrong, therefore couldn't access the house at check in, quickly rectified once I got onto the host
- Parking in the driveway isn't the easiest, driveway is steep and slippery. You can park in front of the gate instead and I believe the hosts are rectifying this.
Bathroom - maybe add a 2nd hand soap dispenser or move the current one into the middle
Kitchenette:
- has no sink
- fridge froze food but didn't freeze ice blocks
- Addition of 2 sets of plates/bowls/cuttlery would be super helpful for breakfasts or quick lunches on the go like sandwiches or roast chicken rolls from Woolies or even fish and chips
- Consider a small table with 2 chairs rather than sitting at side table
To make this absolutely next level:
- Remove the shed in front yard and landscape this area
- Consider adding a small spa out the back, this would be phenomenal and I would probably never want to leave the property!
Booking process was a bit .... scary! The hosts list of rules/regulations are quite intense as is the communication re: check out, damages etc... consider softening approach. Understand you don't want party animals etc however the stringent rules and wording may deter some potential good customers.
Overall loved our stay and wouldn't hesitate to come back!
