Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
1. The airconditioning was not working properly. It was a hot balmy evening. The aircon was not cooling the room.
2. There were no drinking glasses in the room.
3. The ceiling is unpainted, no treatments applied. Bare concrete visible. Looks unsightly.
This hotel has major construction taking place directly behind it, you will be woken early by very loud noise that sounds like it is next door to you. Reception staff were standoffish, rude and didn’t answer the phone. People should be warned about the construction. I called reception 12 times, had to walk to reception to speak to someone, I walked away and called and watched her just let it ring without answering. Clearly they are bored of complaints and are just ignoring them. I wouldn’t stay here if you paid me to.
Disappointing stay in adjoining room confuguration. Rooms lacked natural light and were substituted with strange harsh fleuro strip lights stuck onto a concrete effect ceiling. As requested staff replaced 2 broken bulbs in bedside lamp and ants were reported in the bathroom.
Staff aren’t very friendly, can’t even manage a simple smile, good morning or hello… I stayed for 2 weeks and it didn’t improve from the grumpy check in experience. The lady seemed inconvenienced to be doing her job.
Booked a self catering room which had kitchen facilities including a hob etc… but no pots/pans or equipment you could use… so that was a bit pointless really. Do they expect guests to bring their own?
For a 2 weeks stay was given 3 coffee pods and one dishwasher tablet.
On the plus side, the location is good option for the AO.
Wasn’t told there was extreme renovations being done to the exterior of the building. They were drilling into the concrete on my balcony making it unusable.
The staff were lovely, gave us free breakfast and late check out and offered for us to change rooms. Staff were very lovely about it.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
We had room 224 and it had a really bad smell like damp carpet.
We booked online and requested parking onsite only to be told when we got to the hotel it was first in first served and there was no parking. The closest parking was 2 blocks away and they forgot to mention when told where the parking was that there was only 6 spaces! Not happy.
Accommodation was ok,location right near tram stop, and food places
Lovely hotel, clean well furnished rooms, nice staff, easy location

Disliked: Staff & service
Beautifully designed but not functional.
Mariia at the front desk had TERRIBLE customer service skills. She DEFINITELY should not be at the front desk dealing with customers. When we walked in, she was quite rude to the customer ahead of me. When it was our time to check in, she was also short and abrupt towards us. She continued to display this behavior during all her shifts. We were so relieved to see other ladies at the front desk. She somewhat warmed up only after I asked for her name as we checked out. Room was oddly set up; 1) TV was in the ceiling which was awkward to see. 2) Fridge door opens in the wrong direction - towards the wall. Maintenance could easily switch the door to open on the other side. 3) Kitchen and bathroom faucet spouts are too high and large for the low sinks - water splashes EVERYWHERE. When leaning in to wash your face, expect to bash your face against the spout! Look closely at their own pictures of the faucets...much too high! The bathroom sink is extremely low, even for someone who is only 5'2.
